The place was very nice. Very cosy and a good place to have a meal. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. The menu choice was great, as were the prices. The meals were all enjoyed, the only fault, being picky, was that my wifes 'special' was only just hot enough. We would, all 6 of us, return for lunch in the future.

First time we've visited the Bulls Head and we were very impressed. We had the lunchtime over 60's menu, which was excellent value for money compared with other similar restaurants. The menu had a good number of choices for each of the 3 courses, so nice that it was difficult to decide what to order. We will certainly be visiting again.

From start to finish our party all enjoyed our lunch. The team were very happy to accommodate our small-portion eaters. The standard meals were massive. I have nothing but praise for this Pub. I am a frequent visitor for lunch as it is the best value for money going and never fails to provide superb pub grub at a price that seems rediculously cheap especially for us pensioners. Special mention must also be made with regard to the staff. They are always helpful and cheerful that you feel you are among friends.

We were disappointed. The soup was only warm, not hot. Sea Bass and Scallops were poor value; had little of each, veg under cooked, too many potatoes. No caramel for the Sundays and not enough ice cream in them.

Lovely stuff, great range of drinks (I have white peach gin with Mediterranean tonic – lovely). Food was absolutely delicious and a good choice on the menu. Very good value. The only slight criticism What is the overhead lighting was quite bright and I prefer lamps or more subdued lighting. Overall very good experience and we will go back.
