The only thing that spoiled it was ants in the conservatory they were crawling on the table, we didn’t like to complain so we just swatted them off

The staff are friendly and the view is lovely. The food is quite good and reasonably priced. I had a small breakfast with only the choice of fried egg, it was absolutely swimming in fat on my plate which wasn’t pleasant at all.

I have visited 10 or more times. I love the warm cosy atmosphere. The staff are always efficient and friendly. I really enjoyed my pot of tea and Victoria sandwich cake. My friend had a cappuccino with coffee and walnut cake. It looked lovely, and she said it was all delicious. Keep the homely feel to the tearoom, with the bone china plates and homemade cakes. Yum.

It’s always lovely to go up to Ulverscroft and have a browse in the charity shops. Then go for a coffee or a meal. This time we had lunch which as always was delicious. We sat outside and so were able to admire the beautiful views. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Only criticism really is the waiting time for the food - but it’s not a problem. A lovely friendly atmosphere.

Lovely sunny day sat outside on the deck. - beautiful views. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient - would definitely visit again and recommend. I know it probably is not cost effective but the ketchup came in sachets which personally I don’t like - would prefer a bottle. That would be the only thing I would change. Thank you.

A very pleasant lunch with friends. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very hot in the conservatory, so the staff turned on the ceiling fans which was a blessing! Good value for money. Re. the food, just one tiny point - on the menu it said home-made slaw, so I was hoping for plain, shredded vegetables with no sauce, but supermarket style coleslaw was served in thick mayonnaise. But that is just a tiny grumble! Overall 9.5 out of 10. We, and our friends, will definitely be back. (They said their scampi and chips were lovely).

I can't find a single fault! Merrilyn at reception is so lovely, always greets with a big smile, shows us to our table where the amazing tearoom staff take over, nothing is too much trouble, food is delicious (reccomend the brie & cranberry ciabatta) my son had an amazing freshly made broccoli and stilton soup, absolutely perfect afternoon out, 10/10 all round!

We all had quiches which were really nice. Staff so friendly and helpful. Lovely looking out onto the autumn colours. Thank you. Just wish you were able to open on a Saturday so my relatives who work in the week, could come too!

Lovely staff, friendly and polite. Nice homely atmosphere with super views over countryside. Have visited numerous times with donations, and stayed for lunch and to browse shops. Shops are nicely displayed with good quality reusable items. Well done. Ps: also had a.ride n buggy when available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the meal as is indicated by the 5 10s above. I am a very slow eater but was not to feel by the staff that I was too slow. Just two small comments....We were it a bit taken back by having to pay on ordering when we could understand the reasoning. More surprising and difficult to understand and answer was having to decide BEFORE the meal about a drink AFTERWARDS.

Lovely cakes but worried about the amount of sugar in them. Saw a cookery book which used stevia powder for baking. Could some lower sugar goodies be arranged?

Three of us had a lovely visit. It was a sunny afternoon so we sat outside and the view was wonderful and relaxing. Our food was delicious and the staff friendly and efficient, hard to believe they are volunteers. They deserve some form of monetary thanks.

Staff are always very welcoming. The food is amazing. Every time we visit, because it is so delicious, we always have the same ... tuna mayo sandwich and a dish of chips. The sandwiches come well presented with a side salad, homemade coleslaw, and a few crisps. You don't really need the chips, but they are very nice and so easy to eat!!

Great welcome from the front of house staff and good service. We all enjoyed our food and it was great value. Felt the disabled toilet was a little tight for wheelchair access but can see you are limited for space
