Lovely staff and fabulous food — we will definitely return and happily recommend to others. The only criticism (and it’s not the restaurant’s fault, but it did affect our evening) was the wine. There simply wasn’t any choice, as the hotel had run out — on a Saturday night. We had very little option but to take what was left. The hotel really needs to address its wine list and stock levels, as it’s unfair on both the restaurant and its customers. That said, the restaurant itself was faultless.

Great food and value for money. Adjacent large party was very noisy which also had a knock on effect to our service. It was an enjoyable meal and great to see a business starting up. We will go back and hope that there will not be a large party on the same night as we book.

As a group of 3, the third meal was served a considerably long time after the first two meals. The lemon tiramisu was disappointing, in as much as couldn't taste the lemon, but the raspberries flavour was lovely. The room was bland, -pics, paintings, decorations on the walls would liven the room.
