Really friendly staff, and nice atmosphere.
Food was ok, but not great. The batter on the pork dumplings was thick and stodgy. You expect thin asian style gyoza from the description. The filling was quite tasteless as well.
I would go back, but probably not to eat.

The food was generally very nice. The soup was just a little on the thick side and the sweet corn fritters struggled to stay warm on the slate. The presentation and flavour were good though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant experience so we will definitely return.

Overall the quality of the food was excellent. The issue is the menu was not ideal for a lunch time in the area and not what is on the website. There needs to be more traditional gastro pub food, no steaks, no salmon, only chicken risotto, no pies, only 1 burger. It’s a shame as the quality was great but we witnessed at least 2 parties come in and look at the menu and walk out which says it all.

Vegan dish ordered, and it was served with a Yorkshire Pudding (which isn't vegan). Waiter staff whilst pleasant didn't appear to understand dietary requirements or the importance of contamination of animal products with a vegan dish. Soup was almost cold. Overall disappointed.

The staff are excellent, the environment is good but the food is lacking. My meat and veg pie had two miniscule pieces of meat in it, the 'token' brussel sprout was so hard I could hardly cut it! My colcannon mash was plain mashed potato with cabbage on the side, mash was lumpy. My husband's onion gravy had no onion in it and his mash was lumpy and had a tiny few pieces of cabbage in it. Very disappointed with the food.
