From arrival to leaving everything was very good, food and service. Very clean throughout too. We was lucky because it was quiet but if it wasn't a 45 minute booking would not have been long enough...I know you can ask for more time when booking but maybe an hour would be better.

The Quayside Hotel was recommended to us by our daughter and it didn’t disappoint.Was easy to book a table online. Wonderful feel to it as soon as we entered the building. We ate from the lunch time menu and it was very good food. Would like to know the recipe for the salad dressing they served.it was delicious.We shall be returning at some point to try out the Dinner menu.The young lady who waited on our table was very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend.

Although service and food were very good I didn’t get what I ordered, I ordered mushroom rissotto and was served with prawn rissotto which I chose to eat but
Obviously I would have preferred my own choice of mushroom rissotto.
I had two cosmopolitans, which tasted like two different drinks. The staff were very good, even though it was very busy.

Everyone in the party thoroughly enjoyed their food- it was full of flavour and fabulous. Ambience was more than excellent. Staff very attentive and cheerful, which means a lot. Would have preferred someone attending at the bar. Car park was difficult to turn round as as it was so full. It would be a better plan to put signage up for "Staff Car Park". Overall everything was fantastic and we will certainly be returning and have recommended it to our friends. Thank you for making my birthday a lovely evening.

More positive than negative..... Dying plants outside weren't very welcoming. The decor is tired and dated and the overall ambience is very lack lustre and dull. The young ladies that served us were very pleasant especially our waitress but service overall was slow and not attentive. Staff were generally very absent. The food took a while to come but when it did it was lovely. Well cooked and very nice. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Everyone enjoyed their food. Disappointed to have sauces presented in sachets... Touches like that let's it down. No one asking if the meal was ok? (it was lovely). No offer of coffee at the end and we had to go and find someone when we wanted to pay. We will go back as the food was really nice. It could easily be elevated to excellent with some attention to detail. Overall I would recommend.

Had to request 'starter' plates and 'hand wipes' after we all used fingers to eat 'starters'. Crispy beef very nice as usual but cold in places. Corn cobs were excellent.
Waitress took order from four people without writing it down - relied on memory so subsequently one main meal order i.e. Fillet Mignon came with chips and tomatos instead of mash and asparagus - plus garlic butter which I am against and it gave an
overtaste of salt! My wife persuaded me not to complain too much. Her meal also put her off because the prawns had not had some of the scales removed.
After a little haggling over the problem - £10 was taken off the bill instead of accepting the offer of another 'drink'.

Food looked like it was the end of the day, however our food should still as been as fresh as at the start of the day. We paid the same money after all
Turkey had all gone and the beef was as tough as boots, I wouldn't even take home for my dog. I was given a tiny sliver and had to ask for more, although I couldn't cut through it so it was wasted.
I asked for a table of 8 the week beforehand but this still wasn't ready despite only two other tables being occupied

Excellent standard of food enjoyed by all the party.
The only downside was the wait. We had the table booked for 7pm and the food arrive 8.45 . This was a Wednesday evening, not sure what a weekend would be like.
Although the wait was a little long this has not put us off returning as the food was excellent.
