My group had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend. Our server explained that the entire menu is based on traditional meals of the region in the Middle Ages and that recipes do not include any ingredients that would have been obtained after the Columbian Exchange / age of exploration (i.e. no potatoes, no corn, no tomatoes, etc). The ambiance was also amazing and totally immersive. I would highly recommend.

Eu e a minha esposa tivemos uma 1a experiência fenomenal em 2023, ficamos com este restaurante numa lista que temos de locais que passamos, este passou logo á 1a para a parte dos indispensáveis. Desta segunda vez, estavamos com tanta expectativa que coordenamos a nossa viagem de acordo com a passagem no restaurante para jantar, contudo muita coisa mudou, desde a comida, que sendo boa não explodiu de sabor como na 1a vez, atendimento vulgar, quando da última visita foi excepcional, assim como a atmosfera que era pouco medieval. Uma pena para este restaurante que era e ainda pode ser uma referência.

Great food, great service and great experience. This is a must visit restaurant for the full Tomar experience. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I had the ham hock with chestnut sauce. The hock was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My wife had the beef in witches sauce and it was also tender and delicious. Make sure to reserve your spot, because it was full when we arrived for our reservation at 1 pm in March.

Wonderful place! My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant dinner, the atmosphere is incredible, romantic and joyful at the same time. The waiters very very nice and the food was super! Our experience was excellent!! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
