Manna is offering a mix of traditional and modern cuisine. While we stay true to the traditional recipes and the relaxed atmosphere, our restaurant also aspires to constantly add modern-style. We have been preparing delicious meals in the place where today’s Manna stands for over two hundred years. Manna is a place defined by our main philosophy. Best meal of my two week trip. Starter, main course, and dessert were all so wonderful and to be savored for each bite.
The service was the best! Despite being on a sidewalk/roadway, the traffic was minimal, thus making for a perfect environment to enjoy dinner.

Motil je vonj iz sanitarij ravno pri vhodu. S svečkami ste ga kasneje kar dobro nevtralizirali, za prvi vtis obiskovalcev, ki vas ne poznajo, zna biti pa slab prvi vtis. Ostalo pa super, kot vedno.

I knformed our server at the beginning that I would like to try various wines by the glass. We started with a glass of wine each. We were never offered a second glass of wine or even a refill of water. Both were empty. Aside of that, it was wonderful!

Nekako me odbija pogrinjek na računu. V dvomu kam za naslednjič, vsekakor pri meni prevaga. Tole zbiranje denarja (pogrinjek, napitnine) nekako v visoko kulinariko, kamor se že dogo podajate na tak način ne sodi. Drugače pa, kot vedno odlično, od sprejema, postrežbe, do hrane, ki je že tradicionalno pri vas odlična.

Najprej najlepse hvala za odzivnost in prijaznost pri rezervaciji in spremembah. Prostor, kjer smk sedele, je bil prepoln oz. prevroc. Postrezba je bila zelo na nivoju, vsa pohvala streznemu osebju, profesionalni in ustrezljivi. Hrana je bila dobra, okusna, sveze pripravljena in lepo dekorirana. Pri ribkem meniju bi pri glavni jedi uporabili malo vec ustvarjalnosti, je pa bilo izredno okusno. Na koncu bi rada zazelela veliko portpezljivosti in dobre goste.

The food at the establishment was very nice, as was the wine, but sadly our waiter was new and he not only got our order incorrect, but he never followed up to see if everything was okay during our meal. Sadly our neighboring table also had the same issue, which is disappointing. Overall the experience was great, but the wait staff could use more training.

Our evening started amazingly at 7:15pm - a sunny patio table, tasteful soft music playing, delicious wine and an amuse-bouche with the prospect of a tasty dinner. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable. The main courses arrived, also delicious. But around 8pm at a bar further along the street, a live rock musician started to perform on their patio, completely drowning out Manna’s music and changing the whole ambience of the setting. We were told this is a nightly occurrence. It would prevent us returning to this lovely restaurant for dinner any time soon!

The food was excellent (10/10!): innovative, delicious and with great presentation, which is why it was a pity there were issues with things that need much less attention to work out: namely the dirty tablecloth, sloppy service as well as using the same set of cutlery for the appetizer, entree and the main dish. Fix these small issues, because the food itself works!

Pričakovanja so bila glede na obiske pred leti previsoka (menjava lastnika?). Hrana dobro pripravljena, vendar nedomiselno. Dekoracija krožnikov enolična, vsi hodi zeleno rjave barve, okusi podobni... Postrežba ok, vendar za nivo restavracije, bi lahko bila bolj profesionalna (strežba preko mize namesto izza gosta, pepelnik nikoli zamenjan oz. odstranjen). Na spletni strani zahtevan dress code: formal? Vse skupaj ok, vendar preveč povprečno.
