The Crescent Restaurant & Lounge is a beautiful spacious room directly off the main lobby of The Montcalm London Marble Arch Hotel. The restaurant serves a delicious buffet breakfast every morning or a la carte option and traditional afternoon or champagne tea is available everyday from 12pm to 4pm..
For children the chef has even designed a bespoke afternoon tea menu, Teddy's Tea Time.
The Crescent provides the perfect venue for meetings, corporate lunches and dinners, The Crescent can also be hired privately and can accommodate up to 48 cabaret style, 80 theatre style, 60 for a banquet, or 120 for a standing reception.

Lovely free flowing afternoon tea experience, great service from staff, ensured we were well looked after, kept our ice bucket full with new bottles of Prosecco as we finished one & did not feel rushed.
Sandwiches & cakes were nice & well presented on cake stand & we were told what was in the sandwiches.
The cream cheese & cucumber was a bit bland not enough flavour from the cream cheese.
Restaurant was nice and clean.

I went on Saturday with 3 friends for the Buy A Gift bottomless afternoon tea and had a wonderful time. The food was lovely but the added bonus was that you aren't just given a glass of prosecco and then waiting for staff to refill all the time, instead you are given full bottles which are in ice buckets on the table. We ended up with 4! The staff were lovely and our 2 hour booking only ended after 3.5 hours when they pointed out that the restaurant was closing. I would highly recommend.

Came on a groupon voucher which made the bottomless afternoon tea excellent value for money. The service was impeccable and all staff were very kind and accommodating. The food was nice, but nothing special. Refills were extra but I didn’t mind as we were on a voucher. If we had paid full price I would have expected refills just like other afternoon teas I have experienced in other 5 star hotels, but then I would have expected the food to be of a higher standard also. It was a champagne afternoon tea and we were given our glass of fizz shortly after arrival. However, we had to ask for tea, and after choosing Earl Grey we’re then told they had ‘run out’! However the sandwiches, scones and cakes were all delicious.

I had a lunch voucher, tried to book a few times but when you mention the voucher was told fully booked a little disappointed, finally booked for me and my husband.

Disappointing dining area for a 5 star hotel. Quite small and felt more like a cafe/restaurant than a special venue.
Staff were lovely and attentive and bought extra tea but any extra finger sandwiches were an extra at £8 a plate. Having said that, the food supplied was perfectly adequate for us ( coronation finger sandwiches were great! )
No extra added automatically for service charge so at your discretion.
Would i go again? Maybe, but not for a special occasion

We arrived & we were taken to our table, a glass of prosecco each was brought out. After around 30 mins still no sign of the afternoon tea, waiter noticed this and kindly brought out a refill of prosecco. Food arrived & sandwich fingers & scones were lovely, cakes were a bit bigger than you'd normally expect. The tea we had was English breakfast & tasted like economy teabag so not the best.

Pretty hotel easily reached from
Marble Arch tube station. Lovely afternoon tea with four varieties of finger sandwich and very good selection of cakes on offer. You could also have an alternative drink to the tea on offer which was good. Overall a lovely time and would like to return.

Crowded an very noisy room. We were told we'd need to pay 3.50 extra pp as we'd booked for a weekend (we challenged as not mentioned on voucher). Sandwiches were tasteless. Cakes were far too sweet. We received a bottle of prosecco, but the waitress had to go and ask the manager when we asked for another glass, even though this was supposed to be bottomless.

The food was very good! However not too many options, maybe one more option in each section would have been better? Me and my friend commented on the lack of music in the background, it was weird being able to hear everything going on, maybe play some quiet jazz or classical etc. and the service was okay but they wanted to rush us out 20 minutes before the time was up.

After visiting a few times previously, we found the standard had dropped quite a bit. Still nice but sandwiches did have some going dry edges - some filling was not what I would call tasty.
There was no Tea menu and the Crescent was closed and they were serving in the other restaurant which is not as nice in my opinion.
The staff however were very attentive and courteous and made the experience good.

The staff were not especially welcoming and we were not really made to feel special. We were also told that the glass of Prosecco was not included when it was clear that the BuyaGift voucher we used was for a Sparking Afternoon Tea. Hence it was included.
