We loved everything about the Italian bear, we visited as a family to celebrate my birthday, the staff were so accommodating making sure 14 of us had somewhere to sit together. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing and of course we had to try the triple chocolate cake which you need to share with someone as its huge but so worth it . Well worth the trip.

Entering the premises with a buggy was tricky. First of all there was a rope closing the entrance door off and the other door was the exit door.
There was an 8 seater table by the door which could be replaced by smaller ones to give more seating space or move it towards the back and bring the smaller tables forward.
There was only one toilet not suitable for baby changing or if you are in a wheelchair.
The hot chocolate drink is pure chocolate, very delicious but if you are wanting a panini first order the drink for afterwards.
On the whole the service and atmosphere was delightful. A very novel idea. Well done.

Lovely staff and very cozy space. Even though it’s smaller than I was expecting, there’s lots of natural light, nice temperature inside. The downsides: tables are too small and depending on how much food you order, you might need to use another table, probably taking place from someone else who’s waiting outside for a seat. I think round tables would solve the problem and suit the place well. What I noticed is that they took too long to call for extra staff when the place got busy. It’s just too much for only one server and still she gave her best.
Other than that, big kudos to the kitchen staff - food that not only feeds your belly but the soul. Quality ingredients, tastes fresh and homemade. Not to mention the chocolate: I’ve had the best chocolate cake I ever tasted in my entire life. I will certainly go back to Italian Bear multiple times!

Staff were extremely nice and helpful. However due to a mixture of busyness and staff doubling up on roles it let them down with speed. We ended up waiting 45 - 60 mins for the bill and had to ask several times. Would recommend the food is lovely and I can understand the popularity. I will likely write a more detailed food blog at some point.

Our experience at Italian Bear was great. The only complaint I have, is that the people seated next to us had children who were watching videos out loud on a phone at the table, which sort of took away from the otherwise calm, relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant. This is obviously not Italian Bear’s fault.

The staff were very friendly and it was nice atmosphere in the cafe. The cake was delicious especially with the triple chocolate. But the milkshake didn’t have much taste and the chocolate was stuck to the bottom of the glass. Overall it was a good experience and I would go again.

The very best chocolatey place in London, Said is definitely my go to place for afternoon chocolate wonders. I always have Gianduia Triple Chocolate with Chilli hot chocolate here and it never disappoints, but apparently all of the other foods here are absolutely delicious. I suggest to book in advance as it's always full.

Hot chocolate divine as always. We ordered a chocolate and caramel cake but wasn't really good as we expected.
Busy as always so I don't really wanna judge some negligence of the staff ( I work in hospitality and overall when the closing time is coming, is totally understandable) but overall nothing memorable but I will come back again for sure

Needed more staff on. Our hot food sat waiting for staff to serve us. It would have need more enjoyable if it had been hotter.
This happened twice to us once with our main meal of pasta and again with our HOT chocolate and cake. As delicious as the hot chocolate was it would have been more enjoyable of it had arrived at our table hot and not sat on the counter getting cold.
Cannot fault the friendliness off the member of staff she was lovely.

Service wasn’t great, we had to ask for tap water three times before getting it. We also asked another waitress for help, and she said she couldn’t help us but someone else would be able to - it would’ve been great if she had told the waitress that was serving us that we wanted assistance but unfortunately she just carried on
