Food was lovely, it was hot outside, but really liked the terrace. The thing is, I found cost really quite high. I went with my husband and 3 children, and we had one beer, but cost was well over 150 even without desert.

We always take the opportunity to eat at Steins when we are in the area. The food is authentically German and very tasty, the beer selection, while not huge is always well kept. As non London residents the prices feel a little on the high side to us, however the quality is excellent and the service super friendly. My only request, please open a branch in Worcester

The only reason it was a 8 on ambience is because the restaurant was quite cold. However, it was sub zero temperatures outside, which I appreciate makes it very difficult. We make it a tradition to book an evening at Stein, before we depart for skiing in Austria. The food and service is always impeccable. One only complaint would be, there was a few items of food unavailable on the menu and had been for a while it appeared. We should have been told these dishes were no longer available or they should be removed from the menu, before placing food orders. Otherwise a great experience and atmosphere.

Stein's is one of my all time favourite restaurants of all time in Kingston. They offer home quality cooking German food and it is to die for. I have been there at least 10 times and each time it is just as good as the last. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! And their portions are fantastic. Also during October, they have octoberfest beers which is definitely an added bonus. 10 out of 10 any day of the week.

Both the food and beer were excellent as always, Steins is the most authentic German restaurant we have found in the UK, sadly we only get the chance to visit now and again as we no longer live near London, how about opening a branch in Worcester

First time visiting this restaurant & it certainly won’t be the last. The food was fabulous & there’s a lovely view of the river if eating outside. The staff were all very friendly & the lederhosen really set the scene for this excellent Bavarian restaurant. I can highly recommend the curry sauce bratwurst.
