Had a lovely Sunday lunch there at the weekend afer a random Google: Sunday roast, vegan option and dog friendly! Met all criteria. Food was eally good for both meat eaters and vegans. Had a really delicious vegan brownie and ice cream for pudding. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Would recommend.

The roasts were amazing, huge & very tasty there were 7 of us & between us we had the beef, lamb shank ,chicken & vegetarian , we can recommend all . The same goes for the desserts, Eton mess,rhubarb crumble & the chocolate dessert. The service was brilliant & great atmosphere , most definitely recommend

I had a lovely evening here with my husband. There is access for wheelchair users at the side of the property, but unfortunately there is no disabled toilet , food was good but it’s a very basic menu more fast food option style of choices , the staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful, the Paul Weller tribute band was amazing

Giving that this was our 2nd visit (because the 1st visit was 10/10 across the board) the service wasn't as good. Was seated at our table, bang on time, however, we waited over an hour for our food, also noticing later arrivals being served their food before us. Also being told by a member of staff that our plates, went in at 2.20pm & takes around 35 minutes, to be served, by this time, it was already over an hour, despite this, the food is of top quality, hence the reason why, we returned. Just poor service let us down on this occasion, which was also a Birthday celebration.

Overall, really good. I had the chicken supreme roast which was just a rather dry chicken breast, so disappointing. No cauliflower cheese left which was also disappointing. Limited choice of puddings. Service was great and quality of most of the food, very good.

We were pleasantly surprised at the service we received, friendly staff and great food (Sunday menu). I don't actually eat large meals, so was able to buy the children's portion. The only downside was the parking, which is very difficult, but that's nothing that can be addressed by the venue. My husband is disabled and we had to drive round several times looking for a space, even with a blue badge.

Overall an enjoyable Sunday roast. I wouldn't have wanted to pay any more, I think it was just slightly overpriced. My main issue, as with most pubs offering Sunday roasts, is that the vegan/vegetarian roast is charged at the same price as the meat dishes. Is it really as expensive as to prepare a vegan roast compared to a meat roast?

Being new to the area we are trying the local restaurants particularly for Sunday Lunch. We normally only have a main and we chose the beef and the lamb roasts. Both were cold on delivery and my wife sent hers back whilst I said the parsnips were cold but not to bother. My wife's was warmed up but still not hot and I was given a bowl of parsnips. Overall the quality was lacking whilst the quantity was high. I think we will give it a miss in future.
