We booked a meal for 5 plus a child and were not disappointed. The staff were lovely and the food plentiful. We had a few pies, sausage and mash, breaded chicken, chips and a sticky toffee pudding (with 5 spoons) and everything was delicious. The only thing I could not see was an accessible toilet. We came with someone who is less able and the toilets were up a very steep set of stairs. It may be that they do have one but the sign was not obvious so my friend had to use the one upstairs.

Lovely relaxed venue. Didn't get too crowded at any point despite booking on a Thursday evening. Quality of food was amazing well above standard pub food. Highly recommend.

Having seen the pub on a Time Out article as one of the “best pubs in Kensington” we were surprised to find it almost completely empty on a Sunday afternoon. However the lack of punters meant that our food and drinks were ready extremely fast and we had our pick of places to sit. The range of food was pretty straightforward, but absolutely delicious and the quality of the roast was excellent! Nice cosy spot on a rainy day, good service and great food!

Great to be back "in" a pub, tables set out on the pavement and street, no food when we were there, a bit chilly, but great service.
