While culinary temptations beckon from Santa Barbara to Ventura, some of the area's finest dining takes place right at The Shoals Restaurant.
The innovative cuisine features the freshest of seasonal American ingredients, its flavors, and textures matched only by the beauty of its presentation. The Shoals presents an ever-changing menu specializing in fresh local seafood and produce and offers both indoor or alfresco seating beside the blue Pacific. And for those special business meetings and banquets, the Shoals provides an unforgettable venue.
The Shoals is open Tuesday-Sunday for dinner and Wednesday-Friday for lunch, with brunch available on Saturdays and Sundays. The Lunch and Dinner is presently closed Mondays and Tuesdays but we hope to expand our hours soon.

This was our first visit to the Shoals. Loved it.
Our friend had knee surgery and I found the cement ramp on the side after our meal.
I am surprised there is not a lift available for the restaurant.

The food was delicious and the setting lovely with a beautiful view of the ocean. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. As a woman dining alone I appreciated the attentive service as sometimes I find that single diners are ignored. The guests in the dining room included a group of young men, a family with small children, and an older couple celebrating an anniversary and everyone seemed to be enjoying their experience.

This is our most loved destination in Southern California. Words cannot possibly describe the feel and overall appeal to this location. All I can say is set a date and go!!! It’s a must!!! We have stayed at the hotel here and dined at the restaurant over 15 times in the last 9 years.
