We had an excellent dinner. Starting with the Old Fashioned, which was perfect, next came the appetizer, very tasty and filling. We were glad we decided to share it. Finally, the pasta rags with the tender morsels of beef. We were so full we decided not to have a dessert. I'm sure that would have been delicious too. Thanks for a wonderful dinner, which was the perfect way to celebrate a special birthday.

My husband and I went here to celebrate my birthday with my parents. The food and wine were amazing! The Pasta Rags dish and Sausage and Peas dish that we ordered were definitely full of flavor. We savored every bite! The waiter was very personable and took great care of us. The fantastic music was the finishing touch to a wonderful visit. Our first time experiencing Mangiami’s Restaurant. This is excellent Italian food. Being Italian ourselves, I always make my own sauce, meatballs and sausage. So both my husband and I tried this simple dish. Excellent!! Very much like sitting in your own kitchen with a plate of pasta. Service was friendly and music was very enjoyable. Thank you so much. Love going to Magiami’s! Great atmosphere, very relaxing! Sam is an excellent waiter! It is so nice to have the chef come out and see how everything is. Minor annoyances:
We sat at a window nook table - it is winter in WI so it was a bit chilly there.
The light from outside the door was very bright on the side of the table closest to the door. Maybe a shade of some kind could be put in the window to eliminate that?
The waiter poured the wine without asking for it to be tasted.

Our dining experience was very nice. We had to wait a little bit for our server to get to our table. Sam, was busy and did acknowledge us right away though. Check your Hendricks gin, it just didn't taste right, at all. The food was delicious!! Our bottle of wine was very good. We thought having some olive oil with our bread would have made it better. We had a nice time. Concerning was the waiter telling us "they don't want walk-ins anymore, just reservations". We saw 2 couples come in and well, the one seemed to be pushed away as they didn't have a reservation. We were like ok. Then afterwards we went across the street as our friends own a restaurant/bar. They said they don't want anyone to come unless there are reservations. Just thought in a small town where everyone is struggling that didn't make any sense.

It is wonderful knowing Mangiami is opened again , I enjoy having a romantic spot to dine . The Menu is small , but it has a nice variety of traditional Italian dishes and a selection that are unique to this restaurant. I like the nightly dishes not on the menu.
The service is good , not exceptional , that is do to the staff being very small , to keep costs down , and I understand that reason. ( Especially with Covid still being an issue)
It does need a fresh coat of paint outside and a few fixes . However the overall experience is lovely . Good luck to this little gem

My wife and I went to Mangiami Italiano for a romantic dinner. We loved the ambiance and the food is very good. The overall experience would have been better if the server would have lit the table candles and spent a little more time with the diners (there were only 3 couples in the restaurant).

Haven’t been to Mangiami for a long time. The pasta rags were super yummy as usual but the bread was not good. It was dry and tasted old and just served with oil. Pepper flakes and/or Parmesan cheese would be a good addition. My wedge salad also had a “weird” taste to it. The drinks were good and it’s nice that Eric comes out and checks in on diners.
