There’s nothing more enjoyable then being surrounded by loved ones and celebrating your accomplishments together … unless you can add sitting in a heated igloo to that list! The table setting and chandelier were beautiful. We ordered the Pork Belly Bao Buns and Friend Pickles for appetizers and they were hands down the best part of the night! The main course and deserts were also to die for. The waitress we had was perfect … always attentive to our needs but also left us alone and let us enjoy each other’s company . Overall , if I could give BVI AN 100/10 I would !

It was a great experience and my kids had a blast! We did not get our complimentary bottle of champagne that was supposed to be included though. Which I didn't remember till after we left of course. Other than that the service was wonderful!

Well done! Fantastic option for dining with a small group. Especially given recent Covid concerns. Food and cocktails were top notch. 2 suggestions: 1) instead of a zipper entrance, try the magnetic strips that open and close automatically as people/servers walk in and out. Zipper is a bit clunky. 2)If possible, supply a Blue Tooth speaker for guests to play their own dinner music. Thank you for making this unique dining experience possible. Cheers

We had a wonderful anniversary lunch. The food was delicious. Our server was professional and made our experience even more enjoyable with his impeccable service and food and drink recommendations.

Our server was good and friendly but service was slow. It took a long time for a bottle of champagne to arrive and then a while waiting between courses. I don't know if that was the bar/kitchen or the server. The igloos are fun, but seems to be falling apart a little and are less decorated and less homey than last year. More run down.

On Friday, January 8th I reserved one of the Igloos for a birthday, along with one of the rooms at BVI Grand. The reservation was made weeks in advance and the $100 reservation fee was charged. It was not until we were halfway through the meal that the waitress informed us of a $300 food and beverage minimum associated with the reservation of the igloo. This was the first I had heard about this. I did review the information from the reservation and realized that it was shared. I was a bit surprised by this requirement. The igloos were clearly meant to seat 6 people and had it not been just the 2 of us, we likely could have met the required amount. I was disheartened when the waitress made this announcement in front of my partner. This was a surprise birthday overnight and I did not need him to know the cost associated with the dinner. After some back and forth and explanations to the waitress we were told our only option was to purchase over $150 in wine to take with us. We were told there was no other option or negotiations possible. I want to be clear. My issue is not with the $300 minimum. My issue is that this was never reiterated to me when I reserved the igloo or when I arrived to check-in to the reservation. Had we known this from the start we would have ordered beverages and food that would have brought the total closer to the minimum. Halfway through the meal, and in front of the guest of honor was distasteful and rude (and yes the staff was made aware that we were celebrating a birthday). While I am new to the BVI, my partner is not. His family and place of business has dined and hosted numerous events in all areas of the BVI, inlcuding putting up 15 guests in private rooms for multiple evenings at the Grand. We left the BVI with a different experience that is not sitting well whatsoever. I have also shared the information with others in the community and they are shocked with the occurrence and outcome. I wanted to dine in an igloo during the pandemic, and this fit the bill. Service and food was excellent. Igloo was chilly. Temp outside was in the low 30s and I figured it would be in the 60s inside and it probably was nearby the gas fireplace. If it was warmer, there would be too much condensation on the inside of the plastic, so I understand it cant be too warm. Just beware to dress warmly to be comfortable.

The igloo was adorable. The temperature was good, I was worried about being cold and was not . It was decorated appropriately. I honestly thought the price was too much for the meal. The salads were small. My rib roast portion was too thin. The flavor of the food was good and what I expected from the BVI. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The dessert buffet in the Great Hall was the best. The decorations were lovely everywhere. It was a nice Christmas Eve experience, just too expensive for what we got.
