Visited to try the new seasonal menu and we weren't disappointed. The braised beef melted in your mouth and the coley was delicious. The potato dauphinoise were one of the best we've tasted and an ample serving for two to share. The bread as a starter was worth saving to mop up the delicious sauces on both main dishes. Dessert to follow was a sharing of the seasonal frangipane and chocolate mousse with boozy cherries - both were amazing. We highly recommend a visit and suggest you pre-book as tables go quite quickly. Good for family dining, catching up with friends or in our case, just the two of us, given the choice of small and large plates

The food is absolutely delicious - we ate every crumb. The chicken and green beans we had was a particular highlight, but it’s hard to choose. Service was attentive and friendly, and we were given excellent advice about ordering. Wine list is very good too. All in all, a fantastic experience and a very welcome addition to the Stretford (indeed Manchester) dining scene.

This is a lovely, retro-looking restaurant which really has a feel of the authentic French bistro of the 70s. Service is warm and friendly, chefs and staff are calm, relaxed and efficient and the food is very well cooked, subtle and delicious. If a small point can be made... the dishes are described as 'sharing'..... I would say they work better as single dishes. There are nibbles, 'plates' and desserts. I don't think the plates are large enough to share, and they are priced above tapas size portions so it wouldn't be economical to order two or three plates each as one would with tapas. All in all a really lovely and today unique atmosphere with a real love of food and totally unexpected in the front of Stretford's unlovely mall. Definitely a lovely experience and ideal for a date.

I thought the dishes were small for the price and wine could have been in larger measures eg 175ml.
Atmosphere was nice though and service was good
