Overall it was a great experience of Authentic Japanese cuisine, only problem was the guest on the other VIP room 2F, since it was partitioned only and not enclosed as a room noise was penetrating in ours. They were so loud that we couldn’t actually make conversation. I recommend making the VIP rooms enclosed so it’ll be at least sound proof. Again great food and worth the price!

Your attending staff name Lorraine is very poor in giving us a good service. Retrain her ,,,
we are a group of 8 people for lunch .
while we are waiting for our food , I ask for drink, and after awhile she served us cold water ( which i appreciated), and then while she was serving it to us, I ask if you have some japanese tea ,, and she suddenly say in a irritating manner " Ano ba gusto ninyo water or Tea? (while she is serving the cold water) I was aback , but hold my temper, and just let it go.
I told her , yes i want both, i want hot tea. without saying any words, she left our table, and came back few minutes later. and serve us cold tea.
i did not say anymore about it, because my group, stop me for confrintig her.
its ok if you dont serve hot tea, just tell us,,, (which i dont know either). but be kind enough to tell the customers ,
bad manner talking to customers in a irritating way, since we didnt do any bad things that will irritate her, we just ask,
be always ready to give a helping hand to customers, be nice and approachable . if shes having a bad day, then make a day off
we customers are here to eat and have a nice and fine lunch time, but Lorraine ruined it,
by the way, we are booked last friday (Nov. 10,2023) group 11:30am schedule.
hoping this kind of incident will not happen again to us, next time we go there.
appreciate the food, but NOT the SERVICE STAFF (Lorraine).

The seat given was a tatami room but we requested to move us upstairs since we don't want the tatami room. The staff was able to move us. We requested a iced coffee but the server forgot our request and took almost 10 minutes waiting and we have to follow up. but we dont mind. Still a good experience.

We arrived around 6 PM and were seated right away. Our starter was served after about 28 minutes, followed by the drinks, salad, and sushi around 6:39 PM. The ramen came next, and the ebi tempura was finally served around 6:57 PM — by then, my son had already finished his meal.
We also had to ask for service water several times before it was finally served. The food was really good, but the service could use some improvement. We kept pressing the buzzer, but no one attended to our table right away.
Also, the table we were seated at was a bit dirty — there were used wrappers from chopsticks and straws left inside the chopstick holder. Hopefully, these small details can be improved because the food really deserves better service.

Ipponyari has been there for a long time but we discovered it only recently. Since then it has been our go to restaurant for Japanese food. We love the place and we have been regular customers. Thanks also to this app I was able to book my favorite spot during the crowded hours.

Oct 16, nagpareserve ako 11~12.. sabi ko makikiready ng pagkain ng 11 dahil 11~12 lang breaktime ng mga superior namin.. nagsend din ako ng advance order. Pagdating dun walang nakaready tapos tinatanong pa sila kung ako ang order.. Mga managers at korean yung kakain.. nakakahiya sa kanila dahil sabi ko ok na lahat.. kakain na lang sila pagdating pero hindi pala..

The quality of the food especially the one we ordered - the unagi set meal with rice and soup is not good. The taste is a little bit "fishy"" (malansa) and the amount is very small..bitin ang pagkain.
The sashimi boat is good and also the charshu ramen is also good.

Food quality, ambience and value was quite outstanding ! I have gone to three Iipon Yari branches so far and would give the same ratings to those branches. The needs improvement is the service portion where sometimes it takes a little bit of time for some of our orders to be served.
