the food and service in alabang and santa rosa are like what you might get in osaka and tokyo! kudos to the restaurant owners for replicating the experience and offering such awesome value in the philippines! if they would consider expanding in the bgc and northward like pampanga, i would be eager to be considered as a potential investor!

We booked our table a week prior. They sent a text message around 20 minutes prior to our reservation.
When we arrived, we were immediately escorted to our table. Our table was ready. The place is comfortable.
It was busy so we had to request for stuff a few times e.g. house tea refill, extra bowl but it was ok.
Food is great. My mom enjoyed her grilled salmon. My siblings enjoyed the sashimi and sushi slices. Waiting time for food is ok. They served the sushi and sashimi immediately.
Overall, it was a great dinner. Great value and good food.

I've been to other Ipponyari. The food is always value for money. The service in this branch can be improved. For a large group, best to leave a pitcher of water rather than having to ask every time you need a refill. The complimentary salad was not given to all of my guests, only to those who arrived early. I understand that it was peak service, but the delivery of some food can do better timing. There was a buzzer to call the waiters but it would have been better if a waiter is present at all times. We were in the 2nd floor and there were times that there is no waiter in the whole second floor.

Food was great and value for money. Location is very convenient just across Molito and the place is big. I really wanted to try the igari/tatami area so I made a reservation but was still seated in the regular seating area. Must be because the only have limited tatami seats so it would be great if they could expand that. But definitely will go back and try all the other offerings in the menu.

When i called to make a reservation (more than a week prior), I requested for the zashiki area. Apart from getting my details on the phone, i was also instructed to reserve using the QR code. I received conformation on that. 2 days prior to my reservation, i called again just to make sure my reservation was good. Last Nov. 29 (date of event) i received a call asking me if i wanted to do consumable since the area i requested for is for consumable (for 3 hours). Why was in never informed about this from the beginning, the 1st time i called? And then i was being offered a regular table on the day itself. With the many times i was in touch, i would have appreciated it if someone informed me about the consumable. But i would like to thank you for working it out and we were able to enjoy my birthday celebration in the original requested area. Your staff even sang for me, since a guest gave me a cake. It was a fun night!!! Thank you Ippon Yari!

Ipponyari is value for money. We just had a not so nice incident with the service staff last Monday Oct 30. We were 16 pax snd 2 dishes were served 2-3 times !!The waitress was telling my sister that if we dont get the orders the food will be charged to them. We had no choice but to take them. The service crew should be trained to make sure there are no double or triple orders ! Hope this incidebt wont happen again.

Servers were pleasant. A/c vents were directly on top of some chairs so no one wanted to be seated there. I would have appreciated though, if I had known when I made my online reservation that we were going to be seated on the 2/f (no elevators). Our seniors had such a difficult time going up the stairs.
