Looking for a fun and colorful night out? LadyBoy is it. Bringing a bit of playfulness and frivolity to Bridge Road, this modern Thai restaurant is the place to be for a fun night out and a delicious feed. The menu features a bunch of creative cocktails like the Phuket Bucket & Lychee Long Time. Adorned with colorful paper lanterns and parasols on the roof this is a fun fantasy land which sets the tone for a good night ahead.
Inside the main dining room, the playfulness continues with color, graffiti wall art and neon signs scattered throughout - all designed around the eclectic atmosphere of the bustling streets of Bangkok. The food is fun and creative like the decor, inspired by south-east Asian cuisine. There’s small, mid-sized and large dishes, with sides and desserts available too - mostly gluten free friendly, aside from the roti...damn! It’s not hard to see why Melbourne’s foodie crowd has a little crush on this place. It adds a bit of excitement and flare to the dining scene. Go and have some fun at LadyBoy.

We were a group of 5. We had the pork belly and barramundi. Both dishes were well portioned and delicious. The Lychee cider was amazing too. The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a fun ambiance. Would love to dine at Ladyboy again.

As always, I walk away from LadyBoy feeling incredibly grateful to have this place in my own backyard. The food is always amazing. Seriously amazing. So is their offering of wines (the organic rose was delicious!)
My husband is a New Yorker who loves his manhattans and is used to them straight from the horses mouth, so to say. He could not stop raving about the quality of his cocktail of choice and has since labeled it, the best one in years.
The service is always incredible. Friendly, efficient, meticulous but you still feel like you’re at your local. This place is worth visiting wherever you’re located. It’s truly a beautiful dining experience.

The service was great at LadyBoy and the restaurant is hip and quirky with a groovy courtyard out the back but the absolute AMAZING standout was the food. We went there over the weekend and were still talking about it on Monday morning, plotting our next visit. Choose the feed me menu and sit back and enjoy the carefully crafted flavours. Sumalee is the superbly talented head wok-angel in the kitchen and Manpreet keeps everything chill, flowing and professional out the front. Just a note about the noise level, sometimes those larger groups in the front make it hard to have a conversation without shouting. We are booked in for this Thursday and wondering if we could sit in a spot maybe near the window where it could be a little quieter. We are booked for Thursday 4 people under King for 7pm.

Great food and service. The duck and ginger dumplings and the lamb rendang were delicious. We over-ordered of course but the staff were happy to provide takeaway containers so I had the leftovers the next day.
Only slight niggle was that it is quite noisy so be prepared for that if you're hoping for a quiet conversation. There's probably not much they can do about it though - it's just a very echo-ey space.

Maybe some wall fans as was very humid. Needed to be checked on by staff a bit more re more beverages or dessert etc. so had to find waiter. We always love your food.

Hi,We had a really great time, but there was one tiny problem and I don't eve know if you could fix it, but our clothes absolutely reeked of oil. We had to wash everything, and I am still trying to get the smell out of my raincoat. Any ideas? We will definitely be back, but will eat outside. Thank you.

You need to be able to serve tea after dinner. We would have loved that. The waiter said you don’t have tea!
