Upstairs Cellars is Elsternwick’s newest gem and my new favourite place in Melbourne!
The selection of wine is so unique, affordable and highlights the best of small Australian vignerons.
Steve has a huge veritable source of knowledge and is always happy to have a chat.
The place is welcoming, warm, has a lovely selection of platters and I’m especially fond of their decision to partner with local restaurants to offer different dining options.
This has quickly shot to my new number one and I’m going to miss it terribly in lockdown.

Great service, nice owners, great layout inside, great range of wines and cocktails, reasonably priced, beautiful stemware, only suggestion is to change or expand the bubble ‘champagne’ Selection - Only one available and I wasn’t a fan of the current bottle, but the whiskey highballs made up for it.

We were concerned with the amount of people in the venue considering the vivid restrictions also there weren't any paper towels or anything else to dry your hands on in the bathrooms.
Updating the website to match what food is currently available would be helpful.
