After 68 years we still use the same cherished recipe from the Sisters - made by hand with love by volunteers and served by the students of SJA!

Every thing was absolutely wonderful. The only thing I would change is to use washable silver ware. It’s a teachable moment to lessen the carbon footprint.

Not only was the food great but sat with a former student of St Joan’s with her daughter. She was very enthusiastic about her experience. I also got some Christmas shopping done

The students were well prepared to be attentive to the diners. We asked them about what they enjoyed about being a SJA student and their answers were a great testament to the education they are receiving. They are excellent ambassadors for their school.
We appreciated all the time given to getting our bottle of wine opened. It was enjoyable as was the whole meal. Truly delicious. That meatball recipe is special.
If I were to say what might make the event even better, it would be having a handicap entrance.
Also, since it is called Spaghetti with the Sisters, it would have been fun to meet some of the Sisters and tell them personally that their ministry in education is greatly appreciated.

I admire how the students go out of their way to make it a pleasant event. The food was good, and was served quickly.
Unfortunately we were seated at a table that had not been sufficiently cleaned after the prior customers, so we had to ask our server for clean place mats and silverware, which she readily supplied.
I had a bit of difficulty obtaining the cannoli I had pre-ordered. The server told me there were no more cannoli. That should not happen in the situation of pre-ordered items. Another server took up the issue and successfully found cannoli for me. Somewhere there was a glitch in the communication with servers about cannoli, and perhaps in estimating how many would be available for the event.
