Awesome experience and delicious food! I love going to Taste!
In the spirit of continuous improvement in a fine-dining establishment, it would be helpful to discuss the etiquette of tableware-clearing with the servers. Should they clear the silverware that is on the dirty plate or ask the guest to keep them? My preference would be to clear the dirty tableware and bring a clean set for the next course, but I realize that is more work for everyone.

We loved everything about our meal at SMSU Taste. My husband and I were there on Thursday which was St. Patrick's Day. We had a very nice waitress and a wonderful meal. In fact, we said to each other that it was the best meal we have ever had!!!! My husband got the pork dish and I got the steak. For me the steak was a little salty, but I don't like much salt on anything, so I believe that is just me. Also, when I ate the steak with the corn relish, it was not so pronounced. (I think I just needed a lesson in how to eat it. :-) ) My husbands port was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Soooo good!!!!
Again, everything was wonderful and we will be telling all our friends about our meal, so watch out. You might be extra busy.

This is such a treat! To interact with the students and give them some real world experience is something we enjoy.
For the most part our food was incredible and the presentation spot on. The shrimp I had was ok, not something I would order again, but my husband's steak was fantastic!
All in all this was so fun and we will be back!

Emory was a great waiter: answered all our questions, balanced being professional and personal. The food was excellent. We loved all our main dishes: the shrimp, the braised beef, and the flank steak. Dessert was also a big hit. If there's any suggestion we have, it'd be to improve the quality of the coffee. My wife and I have gone to the student-run restaurant most of the last 8 years, and we both think this is the best it's ever been. Thanks!

We all loved our food and service. There were two things I would recommend, the water glasses need to be filled and checked regularly. I was out of water halfway through the meal and no one came to fill it. The other thing is that the wine could be poured a bit more in the glass. It seemed like a pretty small pour. However, we really appreciated that you had wine there. It truly was a great and delicious event.

I had the sirloin. The cut was cooked perfectly but had way too much salt added. I am a person who likes salt but this was really excessive. No other complaints. My friends and I enjoyed everything else served. Waitress was very good.

We love Taste! We understand what real life experience this offers students. Service quality was excellent however just a bit slow. We were there for 5:45-8pm I which felt a little long. We appreciate the opportunity and enjoy the adventure.
