Appetizers were top notch. My meal was great. My wife's meal came cooler than it should have. I probably would have had one more beer had server been a bit more attentive. Beer (Pilsner) was just super, none better anywhere. Ambiance could have improved with the closet door closed. Upon being seated our server could be seen mopping floor. This does not help ambience. Server could have used some assistance for things like making sure waters were topped off, ice was in the water glasses, and other beverage needs were being tended to. We were not offered dessert. Despite the issues we still tipped generously as we are still in the pandemic and are simply grateful this place was open and we could enjoy our meal without wearing a mask. Regardless, they need to do a better job of managing the personnel who ARE available.

I had the Wurst platter and shared with my Friend. To be honest being from Germany that was the worst stuff I ever ate and my friend agreed. Nothing on the Menu to me sounded German other then the Pretzel and Sauerkraut. I have been to your place last year and loved the Liverkaese that you had and was disappointed it was off the Menu. I do love the place and the service was very good. The Food we ordered I was very disappointed with.

On a tour of Twin Cities breweries, Waldmann was a standout. Friendly staff, thoughtfully crafted surroundings, engaging menu and honest, well-executed beer. Others can have the cavernous warehouse breweries that seem to be the norm; Waldmann offers us heart and soul and now occupies the very top of my Mpls/St. Paul brewery list. A must-stop, whether you're visiting the Twin Cities or looking for a solid neighborhood meet-up spot with your friends.

It was a quiet lunch so mcKensie took great care of us. Must have been the owner. The Pretzel and Mustard was awesome and we ordered the sausage plate and should have kept the left over mustard from the pretzel plate. Beer was awesome and McKensie knows his business. We'll be back

I was impressed with how Waldmann handled the Covid safety protocols. We were seated on the patio: tables were more than six feet apart, hand sanitizer was available on every table, serving staff was masked. Having a reservation system allowed for a safe number of customers. Thank you Waldmann staff for providing a safe and enjoyable experience!

They take care to make sure that all the tables had 6' distance and had hand sanitizer at each table. The beer they brew is excellent and the food they serve is quite authentic.
