Chef Bill Austin is an honors graduate of the CIA, The Culinary Institute of America. He brings credentials and experience to the position of Executive Chef at Austin's Harvest Restaurant having owned and operated eight restaurants over the years. Chef Bill has won numerous culinary awards for food preparation, presentation and original recipes.

Beautiful venue for lunch or dinner. Excellent food and service. The only exception is the deviled eggs - very bland, tasteless, overpriced. Do not recommend. Will not order these again.

Our server was efficient and delightful. We had 7:45 reservation indoor, arrived 10 minutes early, hostess told us to come back. When we came back, no table indoor for two, wanted to put us at a 6 person high top, or out doors. Decided to sit outdoors not felt like an orphan being shuffled around to low accommodations! Broccoli salad with little to no dressing, other food was good. Like I said, servers were delightful.

We had a wonderful time eating at Austin's after a long stroll around the gardens. We were delighted with the Limonchello spritz. The salmon salad was modified for me by our attentive server and the chicken, mushroom pasta put my husband over the moon! Wish we could have looked at flowers, but the live oak wasn't too shabby.

1st time eating here and we were pleasantly surprised. We started with cocktails which were perfect, shared scallop appetizer and both of us had the surf & turf finished with a shared tartufa. What a delicious lunch we had at Austin’s Harvest Restaurant surrounded by the beauty of Brookgreen Gardens! Every experience we have ever had there has been memorable, thanks to the warm and welcoming hostesses and servers, consistently tasty dishes, and over-the-moon delightful desserts (especially Bill’s Famous Lemon Pie!). Our specialty salads were delicious. Service was very attentive but not intrusive. Lovely table by a window gave us a nice view. Reservation system was flawless. My first time dining here, will definitely return. The experience is very much in tune with Brookgreen Gardens, a South Carolina treasure.

always a lovely dinning experience. Coming in the evening is a change, and was very enjoyable to get an evening stroll in the gardens, and then enjoy dinner. One of my favorite places to eat.

We love going to the Harvest restaurant. Their food and quality are excellent. specials are always creative and delicious. Staff is friendly and accommodating, as we had a change last minute and they accommodated us. Highly recommend them for lunch or dinner!

Our dinner was delicious and service by Cece was excellent. Our only negative comment is the dining chairs need new seat cushions. The cushions are so soft from wear a person sinks low when seated. We are not heavy people and I felt like I needed a booster seat!
