From the moment we walked in it was top notch. Amazing Canalone with fennel, artichoke pesto with house smoked oysters was out of this world. Topped off by a gratis dessert to celebrate our new college graduate!

We were thrilled with our experience at Mother of Pearl! The ambiance was cozy and intimate. The staff was courteous and attentive. The highlight was the delicious food and drinks. The pecan old fashion was top notch! The pork chop and the crab cannelloni were both superb. We will definitely return for another wonderful night of dining!

We loved our meals and interacting with restaurant personnel. The combo of mayo/parsley oil as the dipping sauce for the rösti was heaven! I got a small bowl of lemon curd “on the house” because they were out of the pie listed in the menu. Delicious food and friendly atmosphere - we’ll be back for sure!

Y'all were fantastic! One of the most surprising and delightful meals we've had in a while in the city. Carrollton Market was always a go-to for us, and it's fun to be back in that space with a worthy successor. Every bite was great. My minorest of minor nits was that the chocolate torte stood well enough on its own, and the old fashioned accoutrements -- while tasty in themselves -- didn't add anything that the chocolate needed (and might have distracted from a base that was *really* special in its simplicity and execution). Can't wait to come back!

The setting is charming. The food and staff are great. The restaurant is noisy, and the ambience could be improved by finding a way to muffle the noise level a little.
Also, there is no handicap provision.
