The whole thing was great.
Idea:,2 guests can’t eat dairy. No real choice for that. We ate 1/2 & paid later ( had to have something for the candle) A sorbet thing or fruit or chocolate in keeping with the restaurant’s food scheme would have been welcome.

Had a lovely brunch on a cold winter's day. The Quarter felt very intimate, and we were able to get in before the crowd. They had additional garden seating, which was not open due to the cold, but let in additional light and atmosphere to the establishment. Service was fantastic, would love to visit again.

The Quarter is one of my favorite Brooklyn restaurants, and I'm astounded more people don't know about it. It has the best happy hour in all of NYC -- I mean, really, $1 for Blue Point Oysters!! And drinks from the full bar are always generously poured. The menu has something for everyone, all reasonably priced. And the service is top-notch attentive. So what are you waiting for?!

I think this may be the best happy hour deal I’ve ever experienced in my life. No joke. The dollar east coast oysters are a dream, but the specialty cocktails are exceptional and crafted by a true mixology master.

My friend and I had an amazing time at the Quarter! Staff were so friendly, value was great. We stayed there for several hours. The food was fairly average, but I would still definitely come back as the vibe was great.

The Quarter is a NYC best kept secret. It ticks all the boxes, ambiance, beautiful garden patio area in the back, good American bistro food at great prices, accommodating service and good background music. Also it’s not crowded so you feel very safe. I can keep going on….

They used to serve a quinoa salad, which was a great option for vegetarians. I hope they will either put it back on the menu or offer a dish that has tofu so vegetarians can have a meal with protein.
Otherwise, it was wonderful, but not having that menu choice may make me search for another place in the neighborhood.

Pros: The fish sandwich came out HOT. Actually burned the top of my mouth, which was clearly my bad, but have never gotten food that fresh out of kitchen before.
Cocktails were quite good - first time I have seen a Last Word in a restaurant or bar. Cons: The cocktails were good, but weren't delivered until after the food was delivered - very slow. They could have used a second bartender.
