They were understaffed so it took a long time till a waitress came to our table. Our appetizers were delicious. We ordered our steaks medium but they were overcooked and dry. There was no salt on the table and the service was a little slow and not so friendly. Tips are automatic so the staff is not incentivized to be warm. We love this restaurant and we would love to see it improve so we can keep going and give 10s in all categories.

The food was amazing, it was prefect! It was pricey, but worth the cost. Nice atmosphere. Our only issue was that the main course was brought out too soon while we were still eating our hot appetizers, so we had to decide which to eat first, and which to let get cold. Better timing would have made everything perfect. If the main courses came out after we finish our appetizers (even if we had to wait a bit) then I would have rated service and overall experience both as 10s.

The food was outstanding.
There needs to be greater communication with the wait staff, the kitchen, and the clientele if there is a delay with the food. After receiving the first course we waited over an hour for the rest of our meal. I realize this was a holiday weekend, and we are slowly coming out of pandemic mode, but there was a breakdown at some point in communication. And we were very hungry. Our entrées did not arrive till about 8:35 PM or so. When we did bring this to the attention of the waitress she was very apologetic and she did comp us dessert.

While the food was better than the first time I visited, it was only okay. The entrees all came at different times. Mine came last, when everyone else had been eating for a while. The soup didn’t come, so I told the waiter halfway through the meal I no longer wanted it, and expected not to be charged for it. Then it came. I was told it was pulled, but not brought, and I would not be charged for it. I ate some of the hot and sour soup. It was mostly hot, not flavorful; mediocre. I wouldn’t order it again.

Food was really good but the service was awful. We had to find our waiter to give our order. He never came back to see if anything else was needed. To have an automatic 18% gratuity added is completely unfair for a party of 2. A tip is based on service and is for the patron to decide. Why should wait staff work any harder or be more pleasant if they get their gratuity regardless?
