Our Omakase experience is $155/person. This will include a multi course seasonal tasting menu, including appetizers, sashimi, nigiri and dessert. Seatings are strictly 2 hours with seating at the bar only. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the reservation time to start service promptly. We cannot guarantee all courses if you arrive more than 15 mins late.

Food allergies and dietary restrictions (ie. gluten free, kosher etc) must be notified 48hrs in advance via e-mail at [email protected] to be accommodated. We will not be able to accommodate vegetarians and guests who cannot consume raw fish.

Due to our limited capacity and pre-ordering fish from Japan, any cancellations, change of date/time, no shows or reduction in the number of parties made less than 48 hours will be charged $100 per person. To cancel prior to this time frame please email us directly at [email protected]

All I can say is- WOW!!! I can't believe this place exists in Fort Lee, it's a hidden gem! The entire experience was nothing short of amazing. From the food, ambience, service- you name it, it was excellent. I've already told all my close friends and family they MUST GO!!! (But now I'm afraid I'll never be able to get a reservation HAH!) I should also mention I am an avid sushi eater and lover. This place is better than ANY Nobu (and I've been to multiple locations). The fish is fresh, the chefs are obviously wildly talented, the presentation is top notch, and all of the flavors and tastes of everything were outstanding. I truly can't say enough good things.

Overall an amazing omakase dinner. Each course was perfectly constructed and was just delicious. The fatty tuna with the beluga caviar was an otherworldly experience. Would love to come back again someday.

One of the best sushi omakase restaurant and second to none in New Jersey! They serve the finest & top sushi quality flown from Japan and other regions that rivals with some of the best rated NYC sushi omakase restaurants!!! Outstanding skills & creativity by the sushi chefs with great service by the waiters, well worthy of Michelin rating... And to put the icing on the cake, it is BYOB!

Wonderful restaurant with an omakase experience that rivals Manhattan's best. So glad we found this little gem during the pandemic - it's been a great place for us to dine safely with our family and friends. Ingredients are sourced from the best and the omakase is just perfection - melt in your mouth delicious! The teams' collective attention to detail and presentation are amazing. The service is excellent and the team is friendly and attentive. Looking forward to dining here again in a few weeks.

My husband and I have eaten at every high-end sushi restaurant in NYC and we are sushi critics at heart. Sushi Kai was a huge surprise on every level, from the moment we walked in the door. This chic, Tokyo like establishment surpassed every expectation from ambiance, food quality, innovation and service. It gets my vote for best restaurant in Bergen County.

The fish is terrific. The Sushi chefs are very nice. The staff fawns over you too much. I would prefer not to be asked "How is everything" once, no less multiple times. Just let me enjoy your wonderful meal. Will I go back? Surely the answer is yes.

Due to rain delay, they had a 30 minutes delay to the service. I wished they could have just let me know because I came 15 minutes earlier as they asked. So I waited 45 minutes before being seated after another table of guest who came after us. There was another groups of 4 guest, they made huge noise during dinner time. At some point, I couldn’t even heard anything from my chef. Sushi Kai has the great food but they can do better with their service detail.

Soup was v salty and tasted like instant. Omakase pieces were very good, some basic and many unique. Been to hundreds of high-end sushi around the world including many Michelin starred ones like Masa in NYC and Kai was very good. Should make BYOB clear. Service was obsequious.

-Food was stellar, hats off the the chefs for the prep and explanations. Kudos to my chef (closest to the entrance) for having the patience of dealing w the diner next to me constantly asking for more rice. -Service staff intrusively reaching over your back and shoulder to clear your plate every 5 to 10 mins was really disruptive - especially when the chef was explaining the dish. Should really reconsider the approach. -Beautiful decor, but staff playing around with the lights mid service was distracting to the ambiance. -NYC pricing in NJ may come extravagant to most, but I do feel there was more food than most of my NYC omakase experiences.

food is on point, presentation and explanation by the chef was excellent. except for the host, where we were not being seated on time and gave us an excuse for not letting us to pick our seat; said you have to let them know when making reservation, but it wasn’t an option while i was making the reservation.
