Food was amazing.just couldn't finish ithe burger which is one of the nicest I've tasted in a long time. Place looks great. Would like to know if the bedrooms are being overhauled. I would like to use it as a venue for customers where I work but they were slighted dated and due to be modernised last time i enquired.

We had a lovely meal. Service was wonderful. As I had specifically mentioned three times it was my daughters birthday I thought they might have done something for her. But no. Maybe I should have been more intentional but when asked in the booking if it was special and I said birthday I thought that information would be used. I like it here. We, come often. Airy, plenty of room, nice food, polite staff, quick service and nothing is too much trouble.
The midweek menu needs updating a little (in my opinion) as I always end up ordering fish n chips, and my wife orders Ceaser Salad. Not much else appeals. However, the food is always really good. This review was for Sunday Roast. Lovely. Could have eaten it twice.

We met as a family for Mother's Day meal. The food was very nice with plenty of meat on the roast dinner. The vegetables were beautifully cooked. The service was excellent, with friendly helpful staff. One suggestion, we asked for Diet Coke and when it was brought to us it was Coke Zero which my daughter cannot have, it would have been better to say it was coke zero when we ordered. Not a problem for us but could be a waste for the bar.

Hadn’t been to the Springfield Hotel since they had opened their new restaurant & have to say what an excellent job they have done. It was light & airy with lots of space & excellent views if you want a table by the windows. The staff were as always friendly & welcoming, the service & food was also excellent. The menu has some errors on it as far as I can remember, the hot sandwich doesn’t state it come with chips. The fish goujon sandwich suggests it comes with fish fingers and fish goujons but it’s just fish goujons, which were delicious but when you try and make 2 fit a large bread sandwich, it didn’t look enough and I didn’t feel it was enough for an adult sandwich.
Service was fantastic, everyone else was offered a blanket for sitting outside apart from our table but that’s just unfortunate. Excellent shelter and heated lamps, beautiful renovations. Congratulations on reopening. We will be back soon.
