We had heard lots of amazing things about this restaurant. And im so glad I booked in February for our anniversary in May. We were warmly greeted and showed to our table. The 2 front of house ladies were both personable and chatty and the vibe was perfect

We discovered Ditto last year and made a point of coming again on this visit to Whitby. Menu was limited as we don't eat meat and one of us has a nut allergy, but depite this de facto lack of choice the food is really excellent. Service is very friendly and the quality of the ingredients etc. is outstanding. A gem of a restaurant and we hope to be able to visit again.

I've eaten at this restaurant many times before when visiting Whitby from London, and it's always been superb.
I was worried that it might have changed a few years ago. It was closed for a while I think, and it didn't do evening meals for a while after it reopened I seem to remember. I was therefore a bit apprehensive about visiting again after a gap of well over two years.
I needn't have worried, it's still fantastic!
Not open on Saturdays now, which is a bit unusual, but not a problem.
I don't know if the chef is the same as from a few years ago, but the standard of the food is still incredible, and I was very pleased to see at least one of the familiar staff still there too!

Another amazing food experience!
The Confit Duck never fails. The Roast Beetroot Salad was absolutely delicious. We both very much enjoyed the Roast Lamb Rump for mains. The service is never anything less than excellent.
All in all, a stunning taste sensation!
Unfortunately, we didn't have room for a Dessert. I would have loved to try the Warm Carrot and Walnut Cake.

We had yet another wonderful dinning experience. Absolutely delicious food. I had the poached duck for main and my partner had the pork belly. Both dishes were superb, as were the starters and dessert.

Everything was how I hoped it would be. Very good small restaurant with a brilliant menu. Food served piping hot. Some nice touches with bread and balsamic or humus and a sorbet palate cleanser. Good service. In fact no negatives at all.
