We enjoyed our Sunday lunch very much. The service was excellent considering only two people were operating the bar, taking food orders and serving at the table. Suggest hiring extra staff. The place lacked warmth and character it felt that it was a standard pub that serves food. A drinks menu would be beneficial to support the mains and dessert menus.
The food was very good though and well worth the visit. Thank you.

We waited for quite a while for our food. Once it arrived there were mixed reviews of the food from members of the group. Fish and chips good, fish pie good but steak and ale pie not good quality meat for the price unfortunately.
The waiter was very polite, informed us quickly what food was not available.

We enjoyed our starters. However, there was a very poor choice of vegetarian/vegan main courses. The only options were vegan sausages or vegan burger which felt very lazy and unimaginative. I opted for the burger which I didn't enjoy, although the chips were very tasty.
