We are a family of 9 and 2 dogs, we arrived Sat 24th July and had an evening meal sat out side on the terrace. Beautiful views.
Lovely friendly service and a very nice meal enjoyed by all. Including the dogs.

A lovely meal to end our holiday. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. The food was amazing. The attention to detail given to each dish is superb. If holidaying again in the area we will definitely be back!

Great meal and drinks, fab views and the pizza oven looks extremely tempting....Finally somewhere nearby that is decent to dine!! Only cooment- and not a criticism- just personal taste is that we would have preferred the haddock fillet skinned in the fish and chips, but beautifully cooked anyway.

We really enjoyed our visit. The weather was lovely and we sat outside. We throughly enjoyed our main meal but I think the desserts could be improved on. The Eton mess was not what we expected and expensive for what it was. We’re hoping to come back sometime and enjoy the lovely views and great service again.

Every staff member was very friendly and welcoming. It was a bit chilly outside, despite being sunny, but the front of the Plough is quite windy, so we decided against a full lunch, opting for pizza and thrice cooked chips. Pizza was SUPERB but i feel the chips were a bit of disappointment - for 4 GBP, I was expecting WOW, but they were only NICE.
My ONLY gripe was that we asked to move to a free table as it was beside the building and less windy. The first server said he would check - he didn't come back to us so we asked our waitress and she said it was booked. Fair enough but 5 minutes later, another couple from another table moved over to it to get away from their shaded table! Hmmmm. Maybe they were the next booking, but I don't think so. This is a minor gripe and we'll definitely return when we can eat indoors - the place looks great and wish you every success with the new venture.

We visited twice in a week and both times felt the service could have been improved. There were meals not available and extra items were added to our bills. I think the staff could have done more to make sure our visits were enjoyable rather than us having to chase extra drinks and the bill.

Food excellent, music was very loud near speakers. The service let it down, had to ask several times for drinks, did not seem to be anyone in overall clharge. Need staff training, although they were all pleasant.
