We had a fantastic time at Kellari, it really felt like a taverna in the Greek islands.
The food is an absolute delight, the Meze is as authentic as you are ever going to eat, the quality of the food, and the portion size are outstanding, make sure you are hungry!! you will not be disappointed.
This is a family run business and it flows through the experience, we were made to feel very welcome, and well looked after, nothing short of what you would expect from our hosts from this amazing country.
We went on a Sunday evening, and therefore it was quiet, we will definitely be back on a busier evening to enhance the experience with some livelier guests.
All in all we would recommend anyone that likes Greek food to give this a visit, I am positive you will not be disappointed. Yamas!!!!!

Really enjoyable evening. The food was delicious all the nicer for being served on a hot plate (which doesn’t happen very often these days )
The waitress was attentive and the atmosphere and ambiance was lovely. The decor was very calming felt like we were on holiday.

Everything was amazing! We came on Tuesday for my partners birthday and the experience was just fantastic.
The atmosphere and service was warm, welcome and professional but the lady running the front all alone made you feel like you were at home.
We highly recommend coming here for dinner whether that be for something romantic or something more last minute and casual.
The food was delicious and it had a real modern presentation which we really appreciated. We were well looked after! Thank you so much

Fantastic food, meatballs and Seabass, lovely wine, dessert and coffee.
Empty on arrival as we had pre- teatime meal. Always busy at night so maybe consider opening later so you're maximising on your covers from say 5pm.
Also consider doing a set lunch menu for a reduced price to encourage lunchtime diners on those days you feel opening from 12 noon. I would come in for Gyros etc. without the table cloths etc...more casual during the day. Beautiful restaurant, table set with real flowers and linen cloths so romantic and a lovely warm ( too warm!) family vibe. Reduce the temperature just a little, save your heating costs. Every little helps!! All in all a great restaurant and a lovely experience. Will definitely return.

First class lunch and great service at Kellari for lunch with elderly parents.
Beef stifado, lamb klefticko just fell of the bone. Delicious. Large moussaka with side salad - couldn't be better. And stuffed chicken breast. All tender. Helped 90 year old in a wheelchair over the slight step into restaurant. Couldn't have been kinder. Well done Kellari. We've visited several times and really recommend the food.

Hi. It was our first time at a Greek restaurant. The food was delicious, I can recommend it to anyone. But do you think that waiting for a main course without a starter for one hour is not okay?! If everyone else is ordering starters and we're waiting for the main course, we should get it sooner than everyone else, right? Could I be wrong?! This restaurant is the best in Beeston without doubt. The young lady who serves
and greets is exceptional, kind, thoughtful and efficient. The meals have always been of a high standard, taste, presentation and quality. I personally would like
traditional background music and did find the wooden chairs a little uncomfortable but that’s not unusual as I am disabled and find it difficult to be comfortable for long periods sitting still. Overall I would recommend Kellari to anyone for any occasion. Many people would say it was a little expensive but so many people compare meals with fast food and takeaway. I’m more than happy to pay for something good and of a high standard that you enjoy and can’t find fault.

It was our first visit. When we arrived on Friday evening all be it very early there was only one table occupied but soon as time went by more and more people arrived so obviously a popular place.

First and foremost, the food was superb: beautifully presented and the flavours were universally appreciated by our group. My sea bass was up there with a select group of the best mains I've ever had (I'm over 50 and well travelled), which are characterised by a set of flavours that just keeps getting better and better the more you eat, and leaves you at the end both fully satisfied and at the same time feeling like you could keep on eating it forever. Another of my benchmarks for a stunning meal is that at the end of it I remember how amazing the vegetables and especially the potato tasted - that benchmark was achieved as well, every vegetable was cooked to perfection with the flavours all preserved.
In terms of slight negatives, well the place is starting to get busy, understandably - it's not a big venue, and people tended not to talk when they could just as well shout, as usual, so it was quite a noisy background with at least 4 different uninteresting conversations that we were subjected to. Drinks took 10 minutes to arrive, and food took 35 minutes, which I don't mind when all the food was prepared to perfection - as it certainly was - but the drinks could and should have arrived a bit more quickly.
These are minor quibbles though: when the food is this good, they won't stop us returning, and the sooner the better - I suspect it will soon be rather difficult to get a reservation here...

We were warmly greeted and the menu was typical of a Greek taverna. All of the food was well-executed - we had a selection including souvlaki and various salads. The wine was also fine and prices were sensible. Our only disappointment was that the staff we met were not Greek. This, however, was a minor aspect and we shall definitely book again.

Tables very close together, if full would have felt quite cramped, appreciate you have to get them in but would have put me off if full

Food was excellent, beautifully clean and bright restaurant. Service was good. We had mezze which was great, although some portions were too small and then large gyros to finish. Not keen on the serving "plinths" as I like the gravy with casseroles and there couldn't be much on them, don't seem very practical at all - use a bowl. But we'll def return

Booked for 830 but arrived and no table hence starters at gone 930.
Ordered 2 different bottles of wine from menu but checking bill both more expensive, so little disappointed at that . Food was lovely when it arrived though.

First time at the restaurant, service was a little sloppy, bottle of white delivered instead of red, then bottle of red was placed in chiller. Had to ask for wine glasses. Starters were delicious, main course chicken was lovely but the pork was dry. Waited quite a long for the table to be cleared. The Galaktoboureko was a little heavy. All in all it was a pleasant experience and good value for money. A little more attention to detail re service is needed.

I have dined lunch and evening with friends at Kellari. Once I sorted the menu out to my taste the food offered is delicious!
Service is good and price medium but the food and experience is worth it.
My only criticism, not sure about the flavour of black coffee but that won’t stop me from booking again!

We did enjoy it. But my suggestions for improvement would be the moussaka could be a bit more flavorsome and the salad more generous. The beef dish would benefit from a green vegetable. Maybe introduce a special lunchtime menu.

We were told there would be half hour wait for food which was fine, what did put us off was how long we waited after eating for plates to be cleared away it must have been a good 45 mins, I think they may need more staff on, as it looked like there was only 2 ladies serving and it was a very busy evening. No one likes to be rushed but we began to feel like we had been forgotten about
