Lovely pub, friendly staff and a good selection of beers.
Food was cheap, we had loaded fries with beef brisket for around £5 and it was plenty for lunch.
Only gripe is it didn’t state they had cheese on as well but this was quickly rectified by the staff for 2 of our party who couldn’t have it on the theirs for allergy reasons.
Love this pub, first on the list if we go into Notts for a drink.

We booked a table for drinks. We were seated straight away. Staff were lovely and polite. Drinks were served promptly. We didn't order food, but saw some of the dishes other customers ordered. Looked and smelled lovely. We noticed there were heaters and blankets inside. We guessed the blankets were for if people got cold. My friends and I thought the blankets were a nice thoughtful touch. Atmosphere was really good, even though there was no music. Outside the pub was a little sun trap and it was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be going back.

When we arrived, although the staff were accommodating and arranged the table for us after the last customers, they did not clean the table before we sat down. Apart from this, we enjoyed everything about the venue and time spent there. And would definantly book again.
