Lovely place in a peaceful setting. The food we had was fresh and well presented. Service was ok but I think a few new members of staff that were learning so once they’re up to speed it will be great. The only slight issue we had was having to vacate the table half an hour before the next reservation which meant we only had an hour at our table, however we were found an unreserved table we could move to for another coffee and carry on with our chat. Overall a lovely first visit and would recommend.

We had a lovely time meeting up with our friends. The coffee was delicious and the toated teacake was really tasty. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We hadn't been for a while but will be back sooner next time. Thank you everyone.

We regularly visit and were very pleased to see the reconfiguration of the small tables near the windows which means we can once again chat and watch the squirrels and birds from inside. Usual high standards, perhaps two slices of toast with the two poached eggs would be better? Nit picking really, had a great time and will be back.

I love the setting to come and have a coffee and breakfast, the service was excellent, I had requested a table by the window, as we like to look out at the birds feeding and squirrels which we had, the only thing wrong, very small thing, was that the tables near the window for 2 have been turned round so only one of you could look out the window at the wildlife. It would be lovely if you put them back as they originally were, so you can both lookout whilst having your meal and chat

An amazing place in the woods, where you can relax with great food, in a lovely atmosphere, while watching numerous squirrels cavorting round the nearby feeders. Unfortunately our food order was wrong, (probably because it wasn't written down), but that was soon rectified and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The staff are both relaxed and polite. The overall vibe is extremely conducive to taking your time and lingering over another excellent coffee. We will be back!

Loved the setting and atmosphere. Good sandwiches but rather disappointing cake selection. Cake was very ordinary (lemon drizzle) and not worth the calories or price really. Lovely setting with helpful, welcoming staff. We all enjoyed our food and found the "small plates" good value for money and just right for lunch. Our table was right next to the window though and, as the sun moved round, it became unbearably hot. That, combined with the very loud music did rather spoil what would otherwise have been an excellent experience.

Well cooked and presented food as ever. Maybe a wider selection of desserts, cakes etc for afternoons? No specials board these days with something a little unusual to try. Rather stark atmosphere, but I rather liked it in these Covid times - felt safer somehow.
