Restaurant Wilhelmina, one of the restaurants of Chef Dennis van Daatselaar who is known for his renowned other restaurant “Carte Blanche”.
Wilhelmina Restaurant is a casual, elegant restaurant inside a beautiful romantic "speakeasy city garden", located downtown Oranjestad in the Wilhelminastraat across the Gerrit Rietveld City Park. Just walking distance away from the Renaissance hotel and a couple minutes by car from the high-rise area. High-quality ingredients from around the world will be served to you by our dedicated team. We were in awe of this restaurant experience. From the service, to the food, to the atmosphere- it was amazing. My water didn’t get more than 1/4 empty and it was refilled immediately. The food was delicious. The chef even had us try a free special welcoming app at the beginning of the meal. We are still talking about it days later we will be back!! Best on the island

Went for our 40th anniversary. Everything was so delicious. The Braised beef ravioli appetizer is a MUST. Had the 4 oz filet cooked to perfection and the sea bass #3. Perfect portion which left a little room for the icecream with cookie crumbles and candied nuts. A little on the expensive side but well worth it.

We had problems with a new server we had to wait too long to order to order and then our drinks and apps got all mixed up --thank goodness the server who has been there for years ( gentlemen with bald head--people who have gone to the restaurant knows who this is took over our order and then service was perfect for the rest of the night!!! Food excellent as always. We hope they remove the ceiling which we were told was just for the season. It was very industrial looking. We were told they were going to have a retractable "ceiling" in place next year. We look forward to returning and eating under the stars again in Wilhelmina's beautiful, enclosed garden.

my husband, Adam and I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! each year we go for a week and we eat there twice. Everything from the appetizers to the main course to the dessert, outstanding ! let me not forget the champagne heaven is exactly that heaven. Short rib ravioli absolutely our favorite. Excellent food and the service was amazing! Our server Juan was great. Everything was well timed and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. About $100 per person including drinks and a bottle of wine. Well worth the price !
