Kelseys founders Paul, Peter and Perry Jeffery were raised in the Niagara Region of Ontario. Trips to the U.S. inspired the brothers to envision a new restaurant concept of their own with Roadhouse dishes not yet available in Canada like New York-style wings and Potato Skins. They called their restaurant KELSEYS after their favourite Chicago restaurant on Kelseys Road. The brothers’ parents took a leap of faith and offered their life savings so they could open the very first KELSEYS in Oakville, Ontario.
