El Rincon

Lovely place with great food, and excellent value. We had a table outside on a sunny day and could almost have been actually in Spain. The only thing I would change is that the guy who showed me to the table wasn’t particularly welcoming. But that wouldn’t stop me recommending it or going back there - maybe he was just having a bad day!

Originally booked a table for 6 but this wasn't ready when we arrived. So we given a table for 4 in the corner. Our friends were late anyway so we were asked to stay in the corner and they pushed another table up to make it large enough. Food was nice. Had to keep asking for certain things like ketchup and never got the extra aioli we asked for. I asked for a scoop of ice cream for my daughter and was abruptly told the kitchen was closed and we'd need to wait 90 mins for the chef to get the ice cream. Spent a few hours on the terrace and when we went in to pay the bill the gentleman handed me the card machine with the full amount on. No bill to check. We also wanted to split 2 ways and he was not impressed having to do that. even though he hadn't asked us. The older gentleman was pleasant but the barman wasn't.
