Booked to go for my husband’s birthday as we’re on holiday here. What a fabulous find. Lovely welcoming staff, rustic ambience, absolutely delicious, hot and plentiful food. I had pie Mr J had fish n chips and we shared the sticky toffee pudding. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend a visit here. Loved the open fire and meeting Biscuit the dog!

A brilliant time. Visited on the 24th, 25th and 26th December. Had a nice time chatting, playing cards, looking after Biscuit. The staff were very personable, and the meal we had booked for the 26th was extremely good. Highly recommend a visit.

A delicious Sunday roast in our local - although we'd been for evening meals, we hadn't had a Sunday lunch previously here and we will definitely be coming again! Delicious everything, the yorkshires were incredible and the portions were generous. We both had the slow cooked beef which was super tasty. We looked for Pub-food and a refreshing beer after a very sunny and hot day and found a perfect place offering local food, a nice garden to sit and good regional beer. Friendly and helpful service. Perfect if you stay in Chadlington or nearby.

We arrived with our new grandson in a pram. The staff immediately welcomed us and made it easy to have our pram in a quiet alcove. The roast was delicious with ample vegetables. We will come again. Thank you to the hardworking staff.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. It was a very hot day, but plenty of seating outside in garden. The food was good, although there were a few things not on the menu. The staff were lovely and friendly, but very over stretched. We will definitely return

The food was nice & plentiful. We really enjoyed the beef & turkey. However we felt really cold in the pub. We were sat on the right handside of the bar. The waitress was very good at the beginning, but after serving our dinner, we didn't see anyone again! Overall it was very nice.

Food was quite expensive plus added on a 12.5% service charge in a pub! Waiter we had seemed new and didn't really know the menu. My curry was really lacking in flavour (with a microwaved packet nan) hubby enjoyed his fish and chips. We had dessert, large portions. Hubby enjoyed his crumble, my sticky toffee pudding had a burnt taste. No music or ambience.
