We had a great time at Bootleg. Its been more than 15 years since I visited however it still remains a great place to stop in. Even though there appeared to be a small crew of staff - they excelled at what they did. From ordering meals and drinks to the serving of lunch, it was efficient and quick. Especially as we were in a group of 16 and there was also another group of similar size dining as well. Beers and cider were great too. Definitely try this place as its worth the visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed both our meals and the ambience. We eat there just about every time we come to the South West. Particularly loved the nachos,yum. I really enjoyed the pint that I ordered, could only have one as I was driving. Can't remember the name, was the 3.5% brew,crisp & refreshing. Would like to make mention of the young bloke, serving behind the bar as well as taking orders, very friendly and a good ambassador for the brewery. About covers it.

Food was better than a well known restaurant in town we ate dinner at the night before. No one asked how food was, offered more drinks or sweets. The plastic blinds could do with a clean, made for a blurry view out across the land. Please bring back the bbq bull sauce! LOVE it! Miss it!

We were a group of 11 and we all enjoyed our meals however, it was disappointing that the duck salad was not available. We were told it was not popular and “took too long to cook”. So why have it on the menu?!

Bit noisy when the two bus loads of tourists rocked up as we were about to eat. My son really appreciated the gift from the staff for turning 18. The food was delicious. The teens enjoyed a game of pool.

Grounds and building could do with some TLC. It’s a shame to see everything look a little old and tired. Leaves all over path ways, shade over kids play ground torn, you know the little things that make a place seem loved. We had a lovely time and the kids loved it, would just be nice to see it returned to its former glory.
