I thought the Silly Goose was really great, I really want to give a shout out to our waiter (can't remember his name) but he was friendly and accommodating, every time he gave us our meal or coffee he always called us lovely and made us feel like we were the only diners in the restaurant. He definitely deserves the praise, and I wish I had taken his name down. The only reason I gave 5 stars for service was because we had to wait over an hour for our food, and most of us had already eaten when the food came out for the rest. It really should be out at the same time and we shouldn't have to wait over an hour for our food.

So glad I chose this lovely cafe/restaurant, with the option of sitting in a beautiful garden or indoors. We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience at Silly Goose. The staff were very friendly, helpful and patient. We did not feel rushed at all even though we were there for over 3 hours! Coffee and food were excellent and well presented. I booked a table for 5 the night before and managed to get a spot indoors on a wintry day. We had the option of table service or self-ordering with QR codes which was great. Our waiter was friendly and patient, making sure we got what we needed and helping us split the bill at the end. We were there for a casual work meeting and didn't feel rushed out the door. The only issue was the difficulty finding parking.

We had a chilled birthday dinner for my sons in the outdoor area on a warm Spring evening. Loved the relaxed vibe, the ( unexpected) table service, and the food was delicious. It was perfect being able to order dinner from 4 pm ) as it suits my sons 4 pm), as it suits my sons work schedule to eat early in the evening. Definitely will be back.

wow first time here , very quirky . was told i had the front table but cleaning so i went to the ladies , when i came back someone else had taken it . was given another table . cafe very loud and so not a place for quiet conversation . was quick taken aback pets are allowed inside? when there is outdoor seating . coffee was strong but not overly hot .. just drinking temp. i have pav pancakes .very nice but too sweet . my friend had chia latte and eggs benedict with salmon which she enjoyed bill was $65

Table service was very poor. Missing items like S and Pepper and cutlery. Tables not cleared after guests left, or only partially cleared. The lady behind ‘the counter’ was very pleasant but only saw one other staff member occasionally who drifted in and out. The food was nice but service must pick up by several notches.

Pushed my booking out because of mothers day which is fine due to high booking volume, free tables throughout when we were there, so unfortunate for them if so many cancelled. Booked for brunch. Not busy.enquired about GF bread available. Took 2 staff to work out what GF toast and avo was… got some crazy dish with bacon etc . Didn’t order it. Took ages to make replacement. Paid for the $25 fancy dish we didnt order. Our other dish $27 was the polenta and the eggs were so vinegared! Made special effort to come there … but can’t go back.

Didn’t really enjoy the menu. Just wanted ordinary good food. Green pancakes were weird, waffles not the best, bacon wasn’t crispy, looked almost raw. Won’t be back in a hurry for the food, but the coffee was good!
