Unfortunately the online booking didn’t show up on the system. This was also the case with another group of six people.
The staff were amazing in accommodating us all.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was very tasty and good size portion.
Look forward to seeing the new menu.

The Freo was closed and no one phoned us to explain that restaurant was not open. My husband had planned a nice surprise birthday dinner there for me

First off, food was great. Wait time was too long (almost an hour). Several other diners were also questioning the time delays and a table near us had 4 diners. 2 had finished their meals and the others were still waiting. Early days yet and as we are locals we are hoping that this issue improves. We will try again in a few weeks before we make our final assessment.

Had a fantastic time at the quiz night .. steak sandwich and sausage and mash were good , but the calamari was a bit ordinary.. Staff friendly and efficient, on the whole a good experience. Great to see the Freo open again

Very disappointing booked for 6.15 received it at 7.20 3 of us ordered roasts 1 had all the meal the next one had no pumpkin,and mine had no pumpkin or Yorkshire pudding which left meat potato and beans, when I asked the young girl could I have pumpkin and Yorkshire pudding I was told no they had run out bearing in mind we ordered our meal at 6.20. The manager charged half price for my meal but it wasn't about the money the gravy was thick and lumpy the meat tough and UN edible. Had they told us they were short on food we would have ordered something else. There was no apology and it was very embarrassing as we took friends out for a meal as a celebration. Used to always get a great meal at the Freo but obviously not anymore

I was really looking forward to a mid-week meal at the Freo; it's so exciting to have another pub open, and we're very keen to support it. The ambience: who thought putting a pool table in front of the main service bar was a good idea? It doesn't matter where you stand, you're always in the way. The menu was below par - items scribbled out and very average food. There was only one opened bottle of rose which was sold to us as a full bottle. Service staff were trying hard but obviously struggling through lack of leadership/direction. C'mon Freo! You can do much better than this!

I’m going to be honest. The food we had was horrible. It was extremely dry that me and my partner couldn’t eat it. I got the lasagna. My partner was struggling with the chicken burger aswell because it was so dry. Other than that it was awesome! And yummy dessert
