It has been some time since I had been to the restaurant and never for lunch. I believe it is now under new ownership. I was very impressed with everything; the staff were lovely and friendly, the food excellent and all sparkling clean. My 3 companions had not been before and were delighted to find such a "hidden gem". We plan to meet there again and my friends are keen to share their new find with others. Cheers!

Loved the ambiance. The food was great and the service was lovely. It was nice to have dinner with friends and be able to hear each other as the restaurant was not noisy as some other restaurants can be. Great place to meet and catch up. We will be dining there again.

Having to go constantly to the cashier and pay up front, rather than being able to create a table "tab" and pay at the end was not what we expected, and somewhat inconvenient/annoying. However the staff were great and attentive, the food was very tasty and large portions - no complaints there. Coffee's weren't as hot as they could have been so that is one thing that does need improvement. Overall our party very much enjoyed our lunch. thank you.

My only complaint is that the squid tentacles were rubbery and not many. At a chinese restaurant I go to they do a big plateful for round the same price and are soft .and crunchy and delicious. Yours were a bit disappointing. Other than that our group enjoyed our lunch there . I have been a few times and always enjoyed the experience. The waitresses are delightful.

Everything was really good, only we felt to close at 9.00pm was a bit early we were after some desert but were told sorry the Kitchens Closed, then thought we would order room service !!! again stops at 9.00pm, the hotel was fairly busy , maybe judge on the amount of bookings and stay open another hour or so !!

I have dined with friends several times before and enjoyed the experience. Yesterday I felt my chicken parmy was overcooked but the chips and salad were just right as was my sticky date pudding for dessert. Our waitress was very helpful and polite but the manager wasn't at all impressed with the fact that we split the bill 4 ways - 2 credit cards and 2 cash payments - and he made that known to his young offsider plus the person from our table who settled the account. Bad vibes and off putting, especially when this is a common occurrence - we were purely dividing the account not splitting it course by course. Reasonably priced and we had a great view as we were by the windows.

The location and decor are outstanding. The prices are great. We all enjoyed our meals.
Upon arrival, we stood nor sure what to do until a waitress stopped on her way with food to direct us where to go. We then waited again to be seated...no one there. Same waitress returned and helped us out.

Love this restaurant, and The building looks so opulent ..food was delicious with new additions such as beef and mushroom pie, bread and butter pudding..
and apple crumble..The only issue was my husbands steak and chips were On the small side even for a seniors meal..

hi first of all i was told i didn't have a booking which i have a conformation email from you so we were taken to a table which was adjusted for us the service was ok but nothing to write home about leaning across people when serving and giving drinks was a pub menu not a restaurant menu have been many times before but obviously changed hands .the food was ok but came out in dribs and drabs we had nearly finished before the last meal was served It was my 70TH birthday so was a bit dissapointed

hello i have been there for breakfast about 4 times before covid and once last weekend my suggestions are
1) the wait staff need to smile, its like they dislike what they are doing.
2) the tea and coffee station needs reorganising, the order in which you make tea and coffee is very confusing and people are shuffling around each other, the order as follows may work better, cups, tea/coffee/sugar, water, milk,
3) i also had to ask for hash browns, fruit salad, there were no forks, also had to open a cupboard for teaspoon, there was no Vegemite, tables were not cleaned of dirty plates. i do realise that the price is very reasonable but if you want cliental i feel these items need to be addressed. We had a table booked for 8.45am and at that time it was not overly busy, so I feel these issues should not have arisen.

Really beautiful renovation. Poor staffING Levels and attendance at our table...we had to repeatedly ask for water jugs or go get them. One African waitress was kind enough to take a table order for dessert. Food was generally good, No complaints but one steak was a tad chewy.

Great place to have a family lunch. Greeted by a lovely young lady who was very accommodating,helpful with fantastic customer service skills. She was great behind the bar, took our order with easy, brought out our lunch and then must have left. That's where it ended. Sad service after she had gone. And as for the manager (well I think he was the manager) when he sees customers up the other end of the establishment waiting to be served at the bar, he should stop chatting and arrange for someone to attend the bar or maybe do something himself...
