Everything was excellent and we will return.
The set deals eg "tall, dark & handsome selection excellent quality and value. £4.45 for coffee and a chocolate a bit expensive. Also, some other cakes which are not chocolate did not meet the expected standard regarding taste. Overall a very enjoyable experience at the chocolate lounge enjoyed by my family.
Lovely place to visit and the drinks and cakes were lovely. It would be good if there were somemore savoury foods available.
This is the second time I have visited and it was just as amazing. Thank you!
Lovely venue, beautifully decorated; friendly helpful staff. Delicious chocolate.
Brilliant!!! What an experience .... chocolate for breakfast!!
Friendly responsive staff. The indoor cafe was elegant and comfortable. The chocolates were special. It was awo fearful treat.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and took the audio tour. Chocolates and ruffles amazing and staff were lovely.
Perfect as usual
Excellent service and the chocolates were superb
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were very friendly and polite and the food/drinks were outstanding. Only issue was that it was very difficult to get parked but I think it was just generally pretty busy! Will be returning soon.
Wonderful chocolate and drinks in very pretty setting.
Staff were so friendly and polite, couldnt have asked for better service. Will be back next time were in the area, wish i lived closer.
Fantastic experience fabulous chocolate
Felt very welcome during these strange times ... Wonderful to sit outside in such beautiful surroundings.. However parking was an issue especially as a number of people seemed to park and not be visiting your establishment..
Very well organised and excellent service. The chocolate was superb so the whole experience was excellent. Thank you Elizabeth and Kenneth
Perhaps reduce the price of handmade chocolates i.e 4 pieces for £11.00 which was steep. They were beautiful though :-)
The chocolates were amazing in terms of flavour and texture. I highly recommend having the tasting and then trying the range.
Really enjoyed our visit to Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier. We went before lunch, which was a mistake on our part - would have been better to go after lunch - due to the fact that there was so much choice on the menu! We went for the Tall Dark and Handsome which was a homemade GF brownie with ganache, a drink and a truffle. My sister in law also had a raspberry white hot chocolate. It was amazing! To top off the wonderful food, the staff were courteous, attentive and accommodated us even though we forgot to mention on the booking we had 2 dogs. Really friendly and knowledgeable with excellent service. Went to the shop afterwards and spent a fortune as they had such a wonderful array of local items. Very much recommend to people visiting the area
Chocolate Paradise as always, and delightful service.
Lovely experience, met at the door socially distancing protocols explained, the chocolate tasting experience was very informative and the chocolates were delicious, would highly recommend
Our visit for morning coffee and subsequent visit to the shop was a perfect way for one of our party to start 30th birthday celebrations. Our server was professional, very approachable and pleasant. He was very well presented as were all the staff, so a credit to the company. The decor, both inside and outside, presented a welcoming appearance that was obviously organised with great care and attention to the small things that displayed pride in the company. Thank you. We hope to plan a return visit later in the year.
Excellent service and tasty food. Thank you.
Brilliant. I’m sure you could charge less or nothing for face masks (as in cheap emergency ones for walk in customer).
Everything was beautiful! Loved the variety of choice on the menu, staff all very kind and helpful and the garden was gorgeous! Definitely would come back
A wonderful time!
I loved everything about this place, the staff were very pleasant friendly and helpful, the decorations were simple and beautiful, the place had a very relaxing atmosphere to it which made one feel very welcomed and of course the cakes and chocolates were out of this world. I would certainly recommend going there to everyone.
Tasty chocolate treats for a good price.
A well loved experience. Can't fault the service, loved the decor and a great selection in the choc/gift shop.
Lovely scones and thick hot chocolate and excellent Covid measures in place.
Absolutely amazing experience, dark chocolate layered cake was great and complimented with a white got chocolate. Glad you were open for our yearly trip
The service was excellent. I had a beautifully flavoured Earl Grey tea, paired with a lemongrass chocolate. The children are already asking to go back.
Excellent visit as always. Issued with loyalty card for next visit.
We love coming here. The staff are amazing. Food is good only thing would be if the scones were slightly warm. Coffee is lovely, thick hot chocolate is delicious and the toffee apple cake is gorgeous
The thick hot chocolate was excellent as always. The pralines as well. The pla e was clean and safe. Thanks
Our overall experience at Highland Chocolatier was excellent, and we loved our visit. The chocolates were delicious, and the whole tour was well organised, safe and informative. The gift shop too was so lovely, and we ended up buying some extra bits to remember our visit. The only downsides are as follows: When we sat down for the chocolate tasting, it felt like a door was left open and I suddenly got very cold with goosebumps. I had to put a cardigan on, but was still very chilly for the duration of the experience. Secondly, I think we expected a couple more chocolates in the tasting experience. We do understand that the chocolates are luxury items, and so are understandably priced as they are. But it might have been nicer to try even 1 or 2 more varieties in the chocolate tasting experience. These two factors though are minor issues and we still had a fantastic time. We would definitely recommend it to others, and would come back ourselves!
The chocolate was to die for and audio guide very entertaining. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The only small downside is that it was a hot day and some of the chocolate were very melted by the time it was time to taste them.
Lovely chocolates albeit expensive. Good audio tour with lots of information on chocolate and its manufacture and taste
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit The Chocalatier. Interesting to hear about the story of how the chocolates are made and the tasting was great fun.
We booked an outside covered table because we had dogs with us. The booking procedure was straight forward & worked very well & the outside space was really lovely & felt quite private. We weren’t inside so I can’t comment on it. The service was first class & our food and drinks very good both in quality & value. There were much more expensive choices on the menu but none of my party chose them so I can only score & comment on our choices. I would definitely go back making sure I had room to experience more chocolatey delights!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting experience (dark and fruits). The staff in the cafe were great; friendly and helpful. The staff in the shop were less so. On arrival, the welcome area appeared to be a little understaffed and the staff on duty a little rushed.
Amazing chocolate! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly return if we are in the area.
We had a very enjoyable time like always, slightly sad that so many of the fabulous cakes had run out but we will make sure we book an earlier booking next time! We thoroughly enjoyed our hot chocolates, rocky road and chocolate cake though! The cafe and shop had excellent social distancing in place. We will be back soon!
Very nice to be back , lovely food and very polite service
Chocolate delicious- both hot chocolate and chocolates. Expensive but enjoyable.
Had a lovely time. Would have been better to have an option to skip the introduction before the taste testing as we had already listened to it all on the audio tour.
Was tempted by the chocolate but a little expensive to buy
Very nice experience on a rainy day. Very good chocolate in a nice ambiance. Although very good chocolate the prices of a box were quite expensive.
We had a lovely visit. It was your first day, so well done. We were sitting nearest the door outside and found the noise of the water feature got quite annoying after a while - its pretty loud. Several tables were uncleared but I guess on your first day open there might have been some staffing issues. The cakes were sublime. The shop is super, but although we loved the chocolates (we had 2 when we arrived) we didn't buy any to take away as they are too expensive.
