We loved dining at the Club at 1740 House - thank you! The food, the service and the view were all amazing. The only areas for possible improvement are that it would be better if diners did not have to walk through a very noisy and crowded bar to get to the dining room. Also, the noise level from the bar to our table was quite high. Overall, a very nice experience and we are grateful.

We had the most beautiful time at this home! We spent 1 night there but can't wait to go again and spend much more time. The river, trees, staff, rooms and hospitality in general is 5-star! I had the perogies which were very salty.
My husband had the pork which was tough to cut. A smaller portion cooked better would have been fine.

The food was absolutely fabulous...no doubt a high quality restaurant! The location is wonderful, the view and ambiance beautiful. I rated lower on service because we felt rushed through the meal. It was also a little annoying that all the desserts were gone before we could order one. Just a couple annoyances but overall a great experience.

The food and service (love Courtney) were wonderful. I wish there was some way to improve the parking. We had a 7:00 reservation and parking was a real challenge. The only other issue I had was that our table wasn't ready when we got there. We had to wait for tables to be put together so we could sit. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal but it seemed strange since we had a reservation.

Waitress was not too terribly friendly.. kind of a shame. Ambiance fantastic, as always.. filled with friendly people. Good and drinks were great. We don’t eat fish, so, sometimes struggle with menu.. would be fantastic if there were just a simple chicken breast and a simple steak on the menu and “always available”.

Lovely place! Great burgers! Would be nice to have a menu that changes more often, offers more choices and to add standard sides like French fries. And, to be greeted with a hello upon entering. Usually you just stand there until someone seats you but it’s a bit awkward as nobody says “hello” or “someone will be right with you.” Looking forward to our next visit, though! Thanks!
