For the most part, I have returned to the RiverHouse with friends that either have never been or have been only once. We enjoy the wine tasting and do come away at times, having purchased wine after we're done lunch.
I had the fish tacos this time (first time). They were ok, but pretty wet, drippy. I don't think I would order them again. I did notice that the menu has changed with a few items no longer available, unfortunately. I would like to suggest just a couple more options for the lunch menu. But I do understand that things can change with time. I guess I just prefer consistency.
Other than that, I will recommend your establishment again to others.

We booked for tables outside in the shade. It rained before we got there but the host had already placed us inside, at a lovely table with a view. The service was rapid and the server always had a smile for us. I had the schnitzel, which I devoured and the men with me had the salmon. We enjoyed the meal so much, we hardly spoke.
Would I return? Of course and again I would take out of town guests so I could show off our area.

We had a lovely lunch to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. It was a terribly hot day and we were outside. A young man who works there was kind enough to find us a second umbrella to help keep us cool.

Our service was awesome, along with food and ambience all TEAM members! Our drinks arrived a little slow, but it was a busy time of the day and we were told there were a lot of drink orders. Only other issue was, we had wasps disturbing us and nothing was available to try to deter them. I would highly recommend the Bistro to everyone!

My daughter and I had lunch together and really enjoyed it. The appetizers were delicious. We shared a naan bread it was really good but I found on one side it was a little over done hence the overly dark crust. The cheesecake and mousse pie were excellent. We enjoyed ourselves. The only small complaint would be a few more items on the menu. All four of us did enjoy the food we had and I have to admit that even though the menu was limited the food was good. If I had to make a choice I would rather have a limited menu with good food than a larger menu with average food. We will be coming back again. Prince George has a limited amount of good restaurants and your Bistro is defiantly one of the good ones.

Had an amazing dinner with the kids after the fantastic pumpkin walk! The server was very friendly and welcoming and great with our family! Really making our kids feel welcome. The food was great as well!
