Prince George's first restaurant on the river! Come down and enjoy charcuterie and cheese, naan pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and fresh salads paired with your favourite bottle of Northern Lights wine. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon on our beautiful patio, located just off the picturesque and serene Nechako river bank.
Will be back!
Great service, great food, outdoor patio is lovely.
Everyone was very helpful and the food was excellent. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate all of them. Thanks for a lovely evening and great wine!
We had a great lunch. delicious food and excellent friendly service
We truly enjoyed ourselves. Our server was very personable and a pleasure to talk to you. We will return. What a beautiful place - so relaxing!
I love going to the Northern Lights Estate Winery for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious the service is great, and the restaurant is just lovely! The only concern I have is the lack of parking on the restaurant side of the road. Everything else is 100%
We enjoyed our lunch. Service was excellent. Thank you
We had a lovely evening. great food, great service. great view!
Sat outside on the patio... the view was amazing!!!!
We had a wonderful dinner and loved the wine. Olivia was a very friendly and great server. The Ambiance is only a 9 because the mosquitoes were bad, not much you can do about nature though. Definitely will be back.
Excellent service, food and river view. Beautiful evening
So fabulous! That food was excellent, the location is beautiful. A lovely place
Loved the setting on the river. Service was very good and staff procedures over COVID made for an enjoyable experience
great service..portions were good..great atmosphere..i really enjoyed it.
Loved our dinner here. Good wine, good food. Wished we could have eaten outside but weather didn’t allow.
It was out first time. We had a lovely lunch on the patio! We will be planning to return on future trips to PG!
We had a fabulous time out! Our first dining out experience since Covid-19. Food was great, both the hummus and charcuterie boards, Could have used a little more bread- especially the hummus. We got a generous jar of hummus, but ran out of things to eat it on. Service was lovely and we were able to have a great first time out since Covid disrupted everything.
Sat on the sun deck. Great view. Food took a while to arrive. Other than that, excellent experience. Server was awesome.
Great meal and really enjoyed the view
Service was great, food was fresh and delicious, ambiance was beautiful but a bit pricey. Having said that overall it was a wonderful lunch date but might save our next visit for a special occasion.
Great place for long leisurely lunch with a friend....but you pay for it. Salads, and shared Flight of Wine and dessert was close to $45 each with tip and taxes.
It was an enjoyable night out with my girlfriends. We had hoped for a table out on the patio, but due to the poor weather, the Bistro was able to accommodate us with a table inside right by the doors, so we still had a beautiful view. Our server was very friendly and took a couple of group pictures for us. The food was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
It was chilly inside so unfortunately for us we were uncomfortable. Neither of us liked our sangrias at all but the food was awesome and our server was great we still enjoy your visit
Food, same menu choice not as good as my last visit in June and times prior. Service also slipped a bit from previous times.
I made the reservation for four at 5:45. Myself and one other showed up at 545 and two others showed up 5 min later. The hostess was very rude and told them they were supposed to be there at 530 and that they had to be out by 7 for someone else to use the table. Our waitress was very good and she helped sort it out. Everything else was great but disappointing to start the dinner this way. Was my first time at this establishment.
So nice to have a place like this in PG. It was a beautiful location, I wished there was a bit more to do and see, maybe they can expand someday. Highly recommend!
During covid, we hoped to be seated outside, with friends at one of four tables. I felt too close to the friends and the room with lower ceiling was noisy. Food was great for three of four plates. Soups and sandwiches. My roasted veg salad wasn’t so much a salad of roasted veg but garnished with a bit of beet. Glad to have option of Hester creek grape wine. Server was good but one must not be in a hurry for food to arrive. Still on the whole, since it was a good experience we plan to return for soup and sandwich
Unfortunately, our hostess did not have our reservation on her list when we arrived. However, she was able to promptly find a table for us on the patio, which was greatly appreciated. The patio was lovely, as was our server. She recommended a great wine pairing with my meal, and she was prompt and friendly. I had the pesto pasta, and it was okay. Nothing special, which was disappointing for the price. A tad expensive for lunch.
Server was wonderful, but she was clearly overworked and felt the need to apologize for waits. Food was delicious, wine was delicious. We were hoping to enjoy the live music, but a large event was taking place upstairs which was disappointing, but still enjoyed the music that was playing on the speakers, good Playlist!
The food is good - I find it expensive for the portions. I find the menu selections limited and I have been a few times and items are out - this makes the small menu seem even smaller. Jordan was a lovely server and the wines are fabulous!
We arrived right when the restaurant opened - first seating - and as we were being seated I noticed food and debris under and around the tables (from the previous day??). I couldn’t help wondering what the cleanliness level in the kitchen may also be if the floors were not being cleaned from day to day. The food was unexceptional. I expect a bit more for the price point and in comparison to other similar winery offerings. The staff were cordial and service was good.
