Everything was excellent. Our server was attentive without being obtrusive. He was helpful. He pointed out one of the guests had dropped money on the floor. Thank you so much. The food was excellent and came to the table at the proper time. We weren't rushed.

The location is superb. The wait staff are all very friendly and competent, and they will slow down the service for a romantic dinner, or speed it up if you need to get somewhere. Just let them know This is our second time visiting The Swedes, and it was just as good as the first. The menu had many options, and the bartender knew how to make the perfect Manhattan!

The meal and service were great. My only complaint/suggestion is to have more non dairy options. One of our party cannot eat cheese and as a result was limited. The waiter said that nothing could be done because the dishes had cheese or a dairy sauce. Other than that we enjoyed the overall experience.

Our waiter was excellent, making recommendations that suited us. The martini I ordered was sublime, with just the right mix of ingredients. I was anxious about ordering the steak special, as I expected it not to meet my requirements. The waiter was confident that I'd be pleased, and much to my surprise, I was very pleased. The special included a salad, and the waiter was happy to accept a substitute request. The vegetables were cooked just right. Dessert was a carrot cake that was certainly good, and my wife loved it, but not quite top of my list. All in all, our experience was delightful, and I shall return.

What a pleasant and delicious dinner at The Swedes last night. Our friends, my husband and I all raved about our meal, the service and the excellent Chilean red wine. I haven’t been to The Swedes for a while now and dinner last night reminded me how great it is. A very warm welcome at the door, spectacular service, and amazing food—a really lovely meal and evening. I’ve loved the gazpacho for years and it was every bit as good as always. Mushroom risotto was incredible—maybe too many vegetables hiding it but those were easy to push to the side. Start to finish, really a wonderful meal and it won’t be as long before we’re back next time.

What a great experience for our group dinner. Everyone and everything was even better than we expected. My wife’s birthday was made very special by both the staff and the proprietor of the Swedes. The food was delicious so 5* all around.

I had not been to Swedes in 3 years. Mainly because I didn't live in Puerto Vallarta. I was delighted that dinner was as delicious as the first time I had dinner there. I highly recommend this restaurant while in Puerto Vallarta. Great good, great service and such a relaxing atmosphere.
