Great food and a good experience as always, it’s one of our favorite restaurants. The main dining room is a little too wide open now as they have removed some privacy dividers that were installed during Covid, that I think added to the privacy/intimate, dining experience. The bar is a little slow but the drink are always worth the wait!

I was at Daniel’s to have lunch with three of my college roommates. One of which is in the throughs of cancer treatments. The staff was so nice that they never mentioned they were closing at 2:00. It was 2:10 when I realized our waitress was sweeping. And I exclaimed “ oh my gosh they are closed!) So we then left. But again, no one rushed us.

We were traveling from Pennsylvania to Myrtle Beach. Stopped in Wilson, North Carolina. Found Daniels by chance and were thrilled by the quality of the food and the friendly service and staff. So much so, that we made a reservation for our return journey, the following Saturday! It was also lovely that Mel, the bartender remembered us from the previous week. Just two little old ladies traveling together! Had another excellent meal, and to top it off the owner/manager gave us a cup of chocolate mint candies for our journey the next day. Would highly recommend. The fillet was cooked to perfection, mashed potatoes were scrumptious, and the asparagus was cooked perfectly also.

My wife and I ate at Daniels last night(Friday April 7, 2023) and the food and service were beyond the 10 star rating they have on this site!! Our server was Jordan, and she provided excellent service. She was courteous, listened to our requests and brought our main course out quickly. The fact that she is also attending East Carolina University currently made it even better since I am an alumnus! Jordan's beautiful smile and calm demeanor made the occasion even better. Finally, the food was absolutely delicious! The ribeye steak(I had) and the crab cakes(for my wife) were cooked to perfection! I can't remember the last time I had such a gourmet steak. The side dishes for each meal were also a delicacy! Due to all of these factors, my wife and I immensely enjoyed our dinning experience at Daniel's and will be sure to return again!

I have dined at Daniel’s so many times, I have tried almost everything on the menu. As a result, I usually order the special so I can try something different. This time it was the mahi-mahi. Marcie was our waitress and did an outstanding job attending to our table. My date and I opted for a bowl of the she crab soup and a selection off the short menu. Would like to have the chef offer occasionally a “special” such as prime rib and or a pork loin as an additional selection. We always enjoy our dining at Daniels and all the service personnel are friendly and attentive to us.
