I have been a number of times. The food is always delicious except this time I ordered the brussel sprouts instead of asparagus. They were so smothered in butter or gravy or something that they didn't even look or taste like brussel sprouts. Neither of us could eat them after the first bite.

Five out of six of the people in our party were served very promptly and thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Unfortunately, one of us had to send our steak back to be properly cooked twice before they got it right. That meant the one person was eating alone while the other five watched.

Great service on all fronts. Delicious cocktail and wine. I found the blue cheese topping made the steak too salty, so I will avoid it next time. Very good steak. It's a busy place so the noise level is pretty high. A great place to dine, highly recommended.

I had ordered a Classic Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken for dinner and initially it tasted very good. I brought half of it home for lunch to eat the following day. Within two hours of eating the salad at Lassen Steakhouse and returning home I had severe stomach distress, and fortunately it passed by the time I went to bed. The next day I ate the remaining salad for lunch and again within two hours stomach distress repeated itself. We LOVE your restaurant and will return to dine again soon but I wanted to share my experience about the reaction to something gone awry within the salad; perhaps the Caesar dressing... the chicken seemed to have been cooked thoroughly. Thank you for allowing me to share my recent experience from 1/28/2024. Keep up the awesome job you typically do and we will see you all again soon!! :-)

As always, your food, service (Lara was charming & efficient as usual), ambience and overall experience were impeccable :-) It's a little loud at times but who can criticize that when everyone is having such a good time!?!?! The lobster was a little 'pricey' but cooked to perfection and your restaurant is the only place I order that delicacy:-) My friends & I will be back :-) :-)

Everything from the service to the food was great. I just never have time to eat all my salad before the food comes out. I don't want to eat cold food as I'm not a fast eater. So maybe more time needed before the food comes out. That would be my only complaint. Other than that, I so enjoy coming to Lassen Steak House for dinners. YUM!

I’m going to give a 10/10 although this time our steak was very overcooked and actually burnt. However, I am sticking with a full star review because we’ve been there several times and they have always truly earned a perfect rating. Sometimes there are off nights, that’s okay! We understand that it won’t always be perfect! Our service and server was fantastic and the ambiance is always great. We will definitely be back!! We love Lassen Steakhouse!

My girlfriend and her friend both had the 12oz prime rib and both were too chewy and at least half of each were made up of fat and gristle. I should have sent them back but did not. The last time we ate there everything was excellent.

It was a BUSY Saturday night so we weren’t surprised that our 5:30 reservation seating was 5:45. Service was speedy, however Cameron (our server) never checked back once our meals were served. I wanted some lemon for my prawns but by the time I was able to catch her eye I only had 2 prawns left and never got the lemon. Chowder and prawns were tasty. Price was reasonable.

We always enjoy planning our “special “ gatherings there. This visit was my Aunt Betty’s 88th birthday. We all had the Steak Diene special and the meal was great. My only issue is the amount of pepper in the seasoning. It’s way too much. It truly ruins the steak. My previous visit I had prime rib and couldn’t finish it because the pepper was overpowering and my stomach was upset for several hours after eating what I did. My wife and I ordered our meals this time requesting they lighten up on the seasoning. I’m not sure if they did anything differently or not as the pepper was again overwhelming. The mushroom sauce helped to reduce the burn and dilute that black pepper flavor at least to the point I could tolerate it but my wife couldn’t eat more than half of her steak. I think next time I’ll ask that they use no seasoning at all and I’ll just use the salt and pepper available at the table. My aunt loved her birthday celebration and that’s what mattered most. Thank you!

We were greeted with care and happiness. We came here for my husband's 62 birthday! It was amazing ambience was great. The tables were alittle close to each other, not much room for getting in and out with our practicly hitting someone else. Sorry. Lol. Alot of us had the fully loaded mashed potatoes, they were luke warm at best. Everything else was superb!!! Thank you for a memorable night! ✨✨✨

service was excellant, server friendly, had reservations no wait time, . We always request to sit up the two steps as far away from the bar noise as possible. we were accomodated however there were chairs impedeing the walk down those two steps and I had to grab hold of the back of a customers chair bc I had recently had knee surgery. Brussel sprouts were NOT as good as usual, raw, steak was tough and waaay too fatty. We always rave about your restaraunt and once again had brought out of town guests to dine. disappointed!

Our ribeye steaks had great flavor, char and were cooked as requested, but they were not tender. The Brussel sprouts were overly salty to the point we couldn't finish them. Our onion rings, rice, rolls, potatoes and salads were very good. We still enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to our next visit.

I was a little cold during our dinner. We were a bit rushed to allow for our next reservation but we get that. The steak, the filet, was DELICIOUS!! The char was superb, perfectly medium-rare, asparagus done perfectly and the loaded potato was....well...loaded to perfection! It was a perfect meal!

It was the best birthday dinner ever. My husband, son, and I enjoyed our dinner very much. The service was great and so was the food. Cooked to perfection. We will be back.

This was the 4th time we've eaten at Lassen Steak house this year. Our waiter, Jedidiah was amazing and very attentive and made our experience that much better. We will definitely be back....

This place knocks it out of the park in every way. Best dinner place in Tehama County. If you go, you have to try the mac n cheese balls appetizer. One of the tastiest things Ive ever eaten.
