The food was delicious but my 14 oz. ribeye was riddled with far more fat than I've ever had. It took a great deal of time to cut out the fat. My husband ordered the same thing and his was great, without the excessive fat. We both noticed how dull the steak knives are and new ones would be appreciated! My prior boss of 25 years was Tom Hill who fully remodeled the interior, including installing the overhead fan system. It would be great to see them working again! I thank you for providing us with a great place to dine!!!

The 20 minute drive from Chico takes you to a wonderful steakhouse. The filet was cooked perfectly with a side of potatoes and asparagus. I also enjoyed a nice local wine pour. The service was excellent. It is refreshing to see a restaurant prioritize the customers experience

We celebrated our Anniversary at Lassen Steakhouse this past weekend. We enjoyed every minute! Easy to make and alter our reservations online and when we arrived it was great. Adorable rustic restaurant setting, fast and friendly service with recommendations from the waitstaff since we had never been there. We just so happened to be there on their monthly 40 oz tomahawk steak night and of course had to order that. Food was all delicious from appetizers, salads, sides and the steak was beef perfection. Service was fast and we were checked on regularly for refilled drinks and if we wanted anything. Prices were reasonable too! Great value all around. Will 100% be going back for other occasions and will recommend to others as well.

Everything was fantastic, especially our waitress and bussers. Only distraction was that my son ordered a medium filet and it was more medium rate. We could have pointed it out, but I just gave him some of my ribeye i couldnt finish which was fantastic. cheers!

I really enjoyed my dinner. Our waiter, who we've had before, is such a lovely man. Always there to help with a great and friendly personality. He really makes the evening! The orange salmon I ordered with carrots and the asparagus was absolutely out of this world! Best salmon I've had at restaurant in years. Kudos to the chef on Father's day! Thank you to all the staff..

We always love to come out every chance we get. The salad, steaks, and rolls are always spot on. The shrimp combo special was okay. The breaded and fried shrimp didn't arrive at the table with the other shrimp, when we asked about it they were brought out a few minutes later but we're were over fried and disappointing. Overall our experience was great. Our waiter was friendly and charming

A very great evening. Waiter and staff were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. Only negitive I had was when I made my reservation on line it ask what event we were celebrating. I put in birthday, I was my friends 80th birthday. That made me think you would do something special for her. I mean, Why ask for that information if nothing would be done to make her feel special? But other than that everything was excellent. We will be back. Love that you are pouring a dark stout beer.

With the current configuration, it is hard to have a conversation with all the noise from the surrounding tables. It is too open. You should install acoustic panels to mute the noise. Would greatly improve the ambience. Thank you.

I think more time to finish our salads/soup before they bring the main course would be ideal! Only because there's really not enough room for everything on it, i.eIi water glasses, drinks, breed plates, salad plates, dinner rolls basket, and the dinner plates! Our waitress was very good too!! I went with my boyfriend and best friend, it was honestly soooo much busier than I expected (in a good way!). We were seated fast, and met our server pretty quickly. I got a shrimp special that was suggested by our server, I can’t remember her name but oh my gosh she was so amazing! My boyfriend got alfredo and my bestie got the shrimp scampi. The shrimp scampi came, unexpectedly, in a bowl of butter/lemon/garlic mixture that was SO good. It felt dirty drinking butter juice but it was irresistible. The alfredo was okay, the parm on top is def freshly grated which was also unexpected, I would get it again without the parmesan; he got it with chicken which was grilled and lemony and just awesome. The shrimp scampi and beer-battered/brown sugar shrimp combo were AMAZING. For a steakhouse, the seafood was just awesome. Overall, it was kinda loud, but it was 7pm and the dinner rush was slowly phasing out. All employees were so so nice and welcome, always met with smiles and thank yous/your welcomes. Food was great, service was great :)

I ordered the 14oz Rib eye steak and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also had the rice pilaf and asparagus that was delicious. My husband had the salmon and he said it was absolutely delicious, moist and flavored perfectly. Overall we were totally satisfied and will recommend it, and will be back again and again.

Shane, our server was excellent. My fillet was RAW but Shane took it back and it was cooked perfect, I had asked for medium rare but it was so tough I could only eat the center. My husband’s prime rib was tough, he had to spit out a third of it. Last 3 times there food was excellent but not this time. Will probably not go again for a while in hopes you get your meat somewhere else. We had asked a friend to join us so he could taste how good the food was but we were glad he didn’t join us. But Shane is a GREAT server!!!

The Lassen Steakhouse was a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! We originally booked through Table Agent- then had to cancel and rebook. Something went wrong and our confirmed reservation got cancelled as well. I was panicked, but they got us in earlier and we had a wonderful time. The semi-private room we were in was perfect for us and our server, Stevie, was fantastic- as was the food.

My husband’s filet was fabulous. My drink special was yummy. Our waitress was top notch. We are regulars and have been busy but will come back again soon.

We had a great time once again. We have spent our Anniversary there the last 3 years and it has always been good. Our server Chuy made our dinner special, helped us take pics for memories of our 41st Anniversary. The meal was great and our drinks were wonderful. We will be back!!
