Event Info
Wine and cheese… a match made in heaven. Although there are no rules set in stone about pairing wine and cheese, there are some guidelines to follow as well as classic pairings. Think crisp Sauvignon Blanc paired with fresh goat cheese, a Pinot Gris & Viognier blend paired with Roquefort or our‚ Forge Port paired with Stilton.
The opposing tastes of fat and protein in cheese vs. the acidity and tannin in wines are why these two foods pair together so well. The primary characteristics in wine, tannin and acidity, have been shown to scrape off fatty proteins from the tongue, making wine an ideal palate cleanser for protein-rich foods.
This experience includes a pairing of 4 wines and cheeses. The cost is $55 pp ($48 for wine club member and one guest- must be a current member at time of booking) with a $25 per person non-refundable deposit due at booking, applied to your bill the day of your experience. (A 20% gratuity is also applied day of reservation.) This experience lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. Experience starts promptly at reserved time. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early.
Cancellation Policy
Official Cancellation & Refund Policy: All cheese and wine pairing sales are final and non-refundable. • Guest Cancellations: We are unable to offer refunds or credits for guest cancellations, "no-shows," or late arrivals. • Winery Closures: In the rare event that the winery must close due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, all impacted ticket holders will be notified via email or phone call. • Rescheduling: If the guest needs to reschedule, a 5 day notice must be given to us to avoid losing deposit. If the winery initiates a closure, we will work with you to reschedule your visit to a future date. If a mutually agreeable date cannot be found, a full refund of the ticket price will be issued. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to our Cancellation Policy. All cheese and wine pairing sales are final and non-refundable.
